My previous microwave fake-died so I ordered this one as a replacement. When I discovered the original had come back to life, I briefly contemplated cancelling the order but then thought better of it as the original was 22 years old.
This new one is slightly smaller, which is actually better, and it has all the settings anyone wants or needs. The child-proof lock threw me but I disabled it and all is right with the world now. I like the 30 second feature as, often, this is the perfect amount of time. This is the perfect apt.-sized unit and I am very pleased with it.   :)

It was easy to find a microwave on sale (fantastic price!) at Walmart online for a student apartment, and with free delivery it was an easy decision. The delivery was fast and as promised no issues at all.

Great Purchase!

Great microwave for the price! Fast delivery ! Good size and heap up fast. My only complain … would be if you stop the microwave before the time is up. The door locks and you need to press unlock. I didn't know! So was trying to open the door and it was lock.

Great purchase, heat fast ! Price point is amazin!

Nice small and functional microwave. Works for basic things and the price is right. The material and safety of the device are of good quality. No complains so far. The big IKEA plate enters no problem, the limitation is the hight. Good to heat up your food but not for large items cooking. Popcorn can also be cooked well.

Nice small a bit noise for us but get things done

This small microwave does not take much space which is what I needed. The push-button to open the door feels a bit wobbly and I wonder how long before it breaks but at the price I paid I did not expect a perfect high performance product and it does the job it's supposed to do.

OK for the price

This model has a very loud sound during cooking. It was noticeably loud compare to my old microwave masterchef 0.7 cu ft. I tried calling the 1-877 number on the instruction manuel, but got an error recording that ‘ this number is not configured'. I lost my confidence about the manufacture. I requested for a replacement, wanted to see if it was just a defected model. However, I did not receive walmart's email about the return time for three days. I called walmart's customer service but the agent had a very strong accent, I could not understand. So I tried the chat. The total time from pick up to clearing at the warehouse and dispatch the replacement could take 3 weeks to a month! I decided to just return and get my refund. The agent told me to return to the store for faster refund process and canceled my replacement request. However, Canpar came to pick up the microwave in the same evening. Can par told me to use the tracking number to check refund status. However I could not see the status of my return using Canpar's tracking number. Now it gets messed up as I don't see the return process in My Walmart account anymore… I think it will eventually work out, but the customer service is not what I had expected.

loud noise

I can use less electricity, in the same amount of time, and heat my food up healthier than the time it takes to microwave an a specific microwave. Five minutes to reheat a plate is ridiculous.

Not worth $30

Works when it wants to. Bought as a gift . They had  trouble with it within the second month of using it. I phoned Walmart customer service and they just gave me the run around. Still trying to get help before the warranty is up but not sure if it will happen.  I wouldn't  buy this again

Disappointed with this microwave

Once we plugged it in and turned it on there was a loud, mechanical banging sound screeching out of the inner works of the appliance. We immediately unplugged, checked it over, nothing looked wrong, all the packing was removed, but when we turned it on again we heard the same frightening wailing sound. Returned it to Walmart immediately for a refund. Will not re-purchase.
