So far so good. I'm satisfied with my order so far. It functions well and boil water in minutes.

Easy to use

I love this kettle, you click on the bottom to turn it on and just pick it up and pour, no filters needed for this kettle. Push down on the button on the top and it opens the top to fill up the kettle.

Easy to use kettle

After exhaustive online research, I bought this kettle because it seemed to have the least number of poor reviews. So far, I'm glad I did. Here are some features it has that aren't mentioned elsewhere:
1. This kettle is available in both black (Model 41010C) and in white (Model 41011C). 
2. The electrical cord is a fantastic 24 in. long, which means I can place it far enough away from my kitchen cabinets, that the steam won't ruin their finish. Compare that to many other kettles with 12 or even 6 inch cords! (Note to absolute newbies: the kettle itself is cordless; it is the base which is plugged in.)
3. The spout is normally designed, and pours with no problems... no dribbles.
4. Unfortunately, there is a water-level window on only one side of the kettle. This may be an inconvenience for lefties. But it's still better than most stainless steel kettles, which have no windows.
5. Longevity I cannot speak for, as I have only had this kettle for a month. However, it has a 5-year warranty, unlike virtually every other kettle I saw out there with 1-year warranties.

So, all in all, it is a promising kettle with a decent design. Fingers crossed, we'll grow old together now!
