We shopped until we found a coffee “pot” that had everything we were looking for...removable water reservoir, push button dispenser, timer ... this is it!!! We love it and it looks great on our new coffee bar!

Volume of water and tank are really well thought out. HUGE difference in NO POT.
I have replaced two times on HB coffee maker when it got cracked in wash sink. No more problems with that! And it is pretty easy to clean and the water intake is seperated well to prevent from grounds or other things getting in water pipe. And the tank is removable. Best coffee maker I have ever had. Expensive ones, cheap ones.....choose this one.

This coffee maker makes excellent coffee. There's only one thing that bothers me about it and that is that it continues to make a perking/ simmering  sound after the coffee is done. I also believe it slightly boils as it makes that noise so I remove the coffee into a carafe.

My coffee maker behavior

The light on the front of the machine is too bright. One can hear the simmering during the keep warm cycle (moderately loud). The heating plate was buckled near one of the screws holding it on.

We like the idea of the brew station and it performs as expected.

Bright Light, Noise

In my opinion, the power cord is too short for the design. You have to pull the whole machine away from the wall at least 10-12 in. to get to the water dispenser, which pulls out from the back of the machine. (See photos below-which wouldn't rotate 90 degrees on this site for some reason). If the water dispenser just came out the side of the machine, it would be a much better design. Unless you have the capability (room) to have the machine in a location with nothing behind it-so you can access the back of the machine without having to move it out from a back splash or out from under a cupboard etc., you need an extension cord- & few people have that kind of set up.
Otherwise, I like the concept of the dispenser-style machine-rather than a canister on a warming plate & I love the addition of the syrup dispenser on the side!!! I haven't had it long enough to comment on its durability. So I recommend it but WITH RESERVATIONS.

HB Brew Station- nice concept-poor design

Been using this coffeemaker since Sears sold them!  The design for persons who have disability with hands is just great as no requirement of having a decanter, nor having to pourover the water as rreservoir is removable. The sad part is, after Sears was gone, whoever produced them went downhill fast, Couldn't last even a year or just a month past year.  I wrote and requested that they could really improve them as many disabled persons sure would benefit - but not to the tune of buying one every year.  Finally found Cuisinart very similar, just still trying to figure out how long warmer stays on (lol) - Only had a few weeks now.

They should have improved this!

Once it was completely brewed it leaked all over my counter. I tried several times with different levels of water so I know it wasn't overflowing. I have been using this brand and make for at least 5 years and now I will have to switch :/

Do not recommend

We were excited to get my mother a gift she would love and we got a defective machine. It also came with a lot of scratches on the top and sides. We thought okay maybe just packaging but when we set it up it didn't do anything. Simple instructions but it would dispense coffee or even take any water to start making it. Very disappointed.

Disappointed

Coffee maker came with no instructions at all, coffee maker was very dirty and dusty and weird smear marks, coffee maker makes pretty loud hissing noises when on, never had these problems before with Hamilton beach coffee maker before. Very dissatisfied with this coffee maker, reached out to Hamilton beach but they were no help at all. Would not recommend

Does not get hot!! Coffee is like learn after brewing! Have to put cup of coffee in microwave after dispensing a cup and f coffee! After sitting for a hour starts to warm up would not recommend this coffee maker!! I am so disappointed it took me a few days to decide on what coffee maker I wanted and took this one b cause of the brand name!! If I wanted ice coffee would have bought one with that feature!!

No hot coffee after brewing!
