My bf nd I were lookin for the perfect coffee pot and we have finally found it. Simple to use and stylish. I love the hot water maker, it's great for my tea and my children that love instant oatmeal. It's not Luke warm water, it gets rather hot!! This item came with 4 sample cone filters, I never used filters like such before. However, I was blown away by how good the taste of the coffee is while using these. I continued buying these filters. The brew has 3 different settings; regular, bold, and 1-4 cups. Great feature, really makes a difference depending on your taste buds. I ddnt have an issue with my ready light on the hot water side, like some did. After you pour water into the reservoir and close the lid, it immediately starts boiling. Kind of sounds like an iron when u pour water in it.  Soon as it's done, the green ready light pops on. Simplicity at its best!!

This was purchased after a great deal of research. Prime did not offer this unit so Walmart's price was much better for in store delivery if shipping time is not an issue. Heats fast, easy to clean and has settings for auto start, brew strength and small pot. AND, it's small and does not take up much space. We almost went with the Cuisinart, but realized it's much larger and about $30 more expensive. Both Coffee and hot water are used daily. Had it for 2 weeks and very happy. Was using Kcups before but didn't' like all the waste.

For coffee & hot water this is your best bet

It's a good coffee maker, makes better coffee than my old Hamilton Beach. I bought it to save some counter space (get rid of water kettle). It boils water quickly. And it looks good too. All in all I recommend the device.

Handy very handy

Bought it for my husband for Christmas and he loves it.
It has coffee dispenser and hot water for tea, hot chocolate or soups
We are still having a hard time to program it to come on in the morning.
It's confusing..
But all is good.

Great invention

same as the cuisinart coffee maker/hot water system we have gotten in the past but a little cheaper.
I can have coffee, I can have soup, or tea, or instant oatmeal.   I love the ease of it and when we've worn this one out we will buy another.

I'm a happy customer

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my mom. As soon as she unwrapped it she had to use it :) As my mom would put it "This is the best coffee maker ever." And its made by her favorite brand Hamilton Beach. The coffee was superb and the hot water dispenser is great for quick tea. I'm sooo glad I got this coffee maker. Definitely recommend!!

I LOVE the separate hot water maker - it saves me a lot of time and space in my little apartment. The coffee maker isn't bad either, but the water reservoir in the side needed way more water than I thought to make good coffee. Works like a charm now! Great addition to my new apartment - would highly recommend over a keurig.

Good purchase for the price

I like having the hot water despenser although I haven't used it yet. And the setting for coffee strength- regular or bold. I have only tried the bold so far. Three strikes against this coffee makerthough. #1 it is SLOW at making coffee. #2 I can't fill the water reservoir without spilling water through the spot where the filter goes. The lid is in the way of the carafe & there's not enough room to pour. So I have to use something else to fill it with. #3. It takes cone shaped filters. I hate those type.  If I'd paid more attention I wouldn't have bought this one.  I'm still deciding if this is something I can live with or do I want to return it.

The coffeemaker with a hot water dispenser is great and the warming plate.  My only disappointment is the hot water dispenser.  The water has a very bad taste. I cleaned it according to manufacturer's instructions with vinegar more than twice, but to no avail.  Will be returning.  Have never returned anything before.

Hamilton Beach coffeemaker

...but sadly the hot water section died within 3 months of purchase.   I bought the extended warranty but that doesn't kick in till a year, so Hamilton Beach has to be dealt with.  They're sending a new one...but $11 and change shipping charge and you have to cut the coffeemakers cord to prove its disabled and email them the photo.   The coffee part was still working, now I'm without coffee or tea maker till the new one shows up, kinda silly.   Machine is a 4-5 star machine when it works, but I bought the extended warranty because I read reviews that said it broke down.
