I have a big family so I was concerned this wouldn't last long with the use i knew it would be getting however I was pleasantly surprised that this fryer kicked butt!

Kick butt fryer!!

I have always wanted a deep fryer but was worried that I might not be able to use it or that the food would not come out right. I finally decided to buy the Hamilton Beach Deep Fryer and I love it.  I have not stopped using it. It was very simple to set up and the food comes out delicious.

Great Product

Excellent fryer.  There is nothing negative to say about this unit.  It heats up quickly and quickly gets back up to temperature after adding frozen foods.  It does a great job of crisping fries and other fried foods.  I like that the metal vat that holds the fat can be removed and washed.  It makes draining and cleaning the unit so much easier. Overall it's a great fryer and I am very happy with my purchase.

Excellent Fryer

Used the Fryer twice so far. It works well and keeps the oil at the temperature selected. However, the lid top is quite large and bulk like, maybe just too thick for a lid cover. For the price, its still okay.

Good Dep Fryer

It does what it's supposed to do, so there's no complaints there.  But it's a shame to see a company with such an established and stellar name as Hamilton Beach manufacture an appliance of such low quality.  The stainless housing, minus the inserts, is flimsy beyond belief.  The only thing helping it to hold it's shape is the removable oil pan.  I realize that's what companies do these days to keep cost down, but it's sad to see it happen to a once great brand like Hamilton Beach.   It works, so 2 stars.... 3 stars deducted for quality.
