I read many reviews before actually buying this wonderful mixer. It is easy to use and does what it says it will do. We've made several batches of cookies with ease. I read some complaints about the mixing elements not reaching the bottom of the bowl and was concerned about it. Perhaps they placed the bowl wrong because I have not experienced anything wrong with this baby. The rubber suctions at the bottom work very good at making it sturdy since it is made of plastic. As long as it performs well, I don't care whether it's plastic or steel. I love my new mixer!

Wonderful mixer!

I have had this for about 3 weeks, but have used it many times. It is easy to push the large button to lift the head up to change the beater. I have not used the dough hook yet but have the other two. I do have to stop it and lift it up to scrape around the bowl. I do not consider this a problem.
 I have used the whisk to make a buttermilk pie. The black  paddle beater to make an apple cake. This was so nice because as I add the apples and flour it is so thick. I watched  as it mixed on low and it did not chop of my apples pieces. This was hard to do by hand.
  I have made several other things and have had no problems with it. I bake a lot and wondered why I have waited so many years to buy a stand mixer. The stainless bowl is large and washes up easy and fits on the stand tightly. You put it on and twist it to lock.  It has many speeds to do anything you would want to make. It has strong grippers on the bottom of the unit and does not walk around. I will be making biscuits with it.

I am enjoying it

I checked several online sources for this product and needed 3 attachment, particularly a paddle attachment.  Many brands in this price range have only 2 attachments.  Not only did this meet my needs, but it was 19% cheaper that the same item on Amazon.  This how you win new followers online Walmart.  I will go to Walmart first online the next time.

Reasonably Priced with All Necessary Features

I used all 3 beaters over the holidays and had no problems. When one of my bar mixes was too thick for the flat beater I put in the one for dough mixing and it did the job without a problem!
My roommate complained it was a bit too noisy but it wasn't unbearable.

Great mixer for the price

Came just in time for all my Christmas baking. Received as a birthday gift and this mixer is great. Love it, does a wonderful job. So far we've made cookies, cheesecake, pizza dough and homemade bread. Did an excellent job mixing! Saved a lot of time and back aches.

Great Mixer

Got this for my wife, she started baking as a hobby,. I have heard any complaints so far, which is rare. So this is definitely a great product for the money.

Perfect for beginners

I'm really happy with this Hamilton Beach Stand Mixer. I can make homemade bread and not have to kneed the dough by hand.  With the arthritis in my hands it was to hard to make bread but now it's easy and I love it . I would definitely recommend this product to my Friends. It also make it easy to make other types foods that need to be mixed a lot easier.

Great little mixer for those of us that need a decent mixer for everyday use and can't spend hundreds of dollars on a top of the line. Well made , quality machine. I have only used it for pizza and bread dough and it does the job very well. I am looking forward to giving it a lot of use. I am sure it will perform very well.

Nice everyday stand mixer

This mixer saves a lot of time in the kitchen.  And that is especially good when you have someone in mind to get what you are making, like a child waiting for a cookie or your son anticipating muffins.  I tend to put a lot of extra ingredients in my recipes to make them healthier as well as taste good.  Ground flax seed, oat bran and wheat germs are some of the nutritious  items I add.  The mixer allows me to mix the extras into the batter;  flax seed, for instance, tastes  bitter if not mixed into the batter sufficiently.  The only thing I have to watch out for is lifting the top up when I press the button to raise it.  I found myself with a pinched finger the first time I used it.  The instructions do caution you to be careful when you raise the top to add ingredients.  The mixer cleans up easily, too, and I like the fact  that I can put the mixer bowl and attachments in the dishwasher.

Easier Mixing

The plastic retainer thread sections holding the bowl turned loose while working the dough. If you want to make bread pay the money and get a Kitchenaid, I did and I'm happy.

Took it back

The titling head got stuck, and all the ingredients were ruined.  I was so frustrated.  I even used WD40 to try to loosen the push button for the tilt function.  Had to return item.
