Cord placement can cause inconvenience when plugging in.

Can be affordable, but also steep for certain features.

I like the large wide slots which accommodate items such as eagles and frozen Belgium waffles.  In addition, the keep-warm feature and the toast-lift feature are also pluses.

Very Versatile Toaster

This purchase replaced the exact same toaster model purchased 4 years ago. While I would expect a toaster to last much longer, those nichrome wires that do the toasting can develop areas of high resistance, overheat and fail. I figure I was just unlucky and decided to give another one a try as I really liked the design, features and performance.

This is my second one

this is a good toaster so far,has a really strong spring in it.i looked at another one at work and the springs were wimpy like a cheap toaster.at a higher price.whatch out for a toasters with wimpy springs there all the same thing for diffrnt prices.

Great toaster!  Toasts evenly.  Fits bagels no problem.  Not sure why a toaster needs an alarm but interesting feature.  It beeps when toast begins and beeps when done.

One of the few reasonably priced long slot toasters on the market. Just doesn't toast evenly on both sides.

Good product

Even though the enclosed instructions advise of slight uneven toasting if not using both slots, the actual result is more dramatic.  As I only use one piece of artisan bread at a time, it is somewhat less than satisfactory.  The long slots are very nice as I am not required to cut the bread in half to toast.

Uneven toasting

Almost everything is great with this unit except.....the heating elements.  No matter what you toast, the unit doesn't toast evenly.  It will also burn breads if you have it set higher than 2 -3.  Haven't tried defrost or keep warm modes.  You have to babysit your toast to make sure it gets toasted evenly and doesn't burn.

Great design and features but...

Sorry but not the toaster I was wanting.  This one is more expensive than some but with the same issues as the cheaper ones, uneven browning.  Paid much more hoping to get something with better controls but no, could have bought one for half the price and gotten the same quaility toaster.

Could have paid less for the same quailty

I have always used Hamilton Beach toasters.  I was looking for one that had  a longer slot so I could to Rye bread. This does not toast evenly And the crust burns.

Does not toast evenly, sometimes only on 1 side. fits long bread like advertised but wont toast both sides of bread. Returning.
