Like everything about this slow cooker

I bought this to replace an older crock pot that was beginning to fail; after reading a lot of reviews on different ones I decided on this purchase and I do NOT regret it at all. My favorite part is the fact that I can determine my own cooking time AND cooking temperature. I have used this crock pot twice now since purchasing and look forward to many more uses.

Great CrockPot

I've just used it for the first time today. I used the flex cook method and it worked exactly as I had hoped. Only thing to be aware of is that the lid does not fit securely. It did not seem to affect the recipe though. The clasps for fastening the lid are to be used only for travel not during cooking.

Just what I wanted.

I've never owned a slow cooker before and after reading all the reviews I decided to go with Hamilton Beach 6 quart. The size is big enough to fit a 7-8lbs chicken!! The box labeled fits perfect for a 6lbs chicken which is under selling the product. I bought a 7.58lbs whole chicken and it fitted in the slow cooker with ease!! I also added two whole carrots, one onion and some chopped garlic, it still leaves room for more ingredients!! Overall I am very happy with the result and will be making pull pork sandwiches this weekend, very excited. If you're deciding on what size to get I would recommend getting 6 quart. 6 quart is just the perfect size, not too big and not too small. Very satisfied! Price is unbeatable!!

Great slow cooker that does the job!

After cooking chicken and rice I wondered why I waited so long to buy this appliance. No heat in the kitchen during the summer from a hot oven. Ease of use and clean up. At less than 30.00 and free shipping to my local Walmart it's a deal that saved me $$$ to live better.

6qt. HB digital slow cooker

Opened the box and was happy how it looked. next day I cooked a 4LB pork roast with vegetables and a mexican green enchilada sause.It turned out great and it only took 4 and half hours on the HI setting, everything was cooked perfect and the taste was wonderful.The only thing I would mention is, all meats and vegetables have to be defrosted before putting in the pot to cook.Great slow cooker and my very first one to cook in. I don't know why I waited so long to get one.

Love it

The best feature about the slow cooker is the programmable function, easy to work. You don't have to worry about turning it off or keeping time.  The large size makes it easy to cook a whole chicken which turned out really well. Clean up was easy either wash by hand or put it in the dishwasher.

Happy with this Slow Cooker

I purchased this particular slow cooker for its programmable feature and its size. I only feed two adults in my household, so I was looking for a smaller size cooker, as opposed to the popular eight-quart model. It still seems large for just two people, but I'm still experimenting with the amount of food. The programmable feature worked well the first use.
I would recommend this product. I have only used it once, but I am satisfied with the product.

had one of these about 5 yrs ago but have moved and lost most things.  so, i liked this crockpot and ordered it again. clearly lighter, thinner and more cheaply made. lid not even close to fitting.  will return and go with a different brand and model. disappointed.
