[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is very nice and easy to use crockpot. I always love Hamilton beach products. In the past I had issues with  on knobs and lettering wearing off with different crockpots of different brands I like that this crockpot is knob free. The only thing I would change to this crockpot is that is hand lid locks.. I do take my crockpot to church quite a bit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I currently own SEVERAL Hamilton Beach slow cookers, but this one is definitely in my top 2. It is only the 2nd that i owned with a timer that auto switches to warm and that is definitely my favorite feature. I made a 3lb beef brisket for 8 hours on low. I was able to cook overnight without being concerned that it would over cook. I put in my meat vegetables beef broth and birria bomb and by the next morning we had breakfast birria. My only recommendation would be adding thw ability to clamp and seal the lid down. That would definitely make this product my number one.

Just set it and forget it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach 6 qt Programmable Slow Cooker was not quite what I had expected. What I ASSUMED that it would be, was a slow cooker that you could program to start cooking at a certain time. Maybe have an app that you could control it with. I was thinking how handy it would be to put it my items and program it to start cooking a few hours later, but no, it's not like that at all. What it does is allows you to program the length of time you cook for, either on LOW or HIGH and for 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours. Once that time is up, the cooker turns the cooking to the WARM setting, keeping your food warm for up to 24 hours (it will automatically shut off after 24 hours) or until you turn it off. I like this feature. Previously, I would only use my slow cooker when I knew that I had short days at work or the day off so my roast/ribs/stew wouldn't be cooking for 12 hours. This way I can program it to cook for however long I want it to, and when I come home, I'll have a warm dinner that's not overcooked waiting for me.

Wasn't what I thought, but turned out to be better

Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's your typical crockpot really nothing special about it besides pressing buttons instead of turning a knob. Of course that New burn off smell took a long time before I felt comfortable to put in my food. It did get very hot on the highest setting, which I was very appreciative of. Otherwise, it's simply just a crockpot.
