what a great hand mixer!   used it quickly the day it arrived.  lots of features - pulse, burst, separate beater release, milk shake/smoothie beater, lots of power.   well designed to handle easily or sit on its "bottom" while scaping the bowl.  Also totally washable, even in the dishwasher - who knew that was possible? !!Thank you Hamilton Beach! and Walmart for getting it to me after my old one died after 5 years.

Worth the price

This Hand Mixer is a gem, with plenty of power to tackle blocks of cream cheese and butter when you incorporate.  The self-storing feature for all the attachments is really quite clever.  Some reviews complain about the storage, but they need to put the cord wire in first,  secure the mixer to the container, and then insert the attachments through the opening in the back.  Worked for me with no problem at all.  The turbo button is really nice when you want to whip cream or froth something.

Hand Mixer

It is just what I wanted in a mixer I love how all the accessories are stored in a special clip on box . The color is fabulous too.

I am baking more now that ever just because I like the handle of the mixer. It is better that what I expected, I recommend it.

I haven't had this long, but I'm pleased with it so far. It is fairly quiet, compared to the others I have had. I do like the storage in the bottom. No more searching for the attachments in the drawer. Everything is in one place. Lightweight and I like that I can rest it on the bowl edge when it's turned off.

I do not like how this mixer works. It was designed horribly, without regarding safety measures. Many times I have used it, turned off the beaters and go to set the mixer down and the motor to the beaters will turn back on. I thought at first it was how I set it down that turned the motor back on. With several attempts to avoid this, it has continued to do the same thing. It is unfortunate that this is such a safety hazard, love the design of this mixer

Buyer Becareful

I selected this item because the other older models of the Hamilton Beach models with the snap on case had comments that the case did not snap on. I really wanted the snap on case so I could keep all the parts together without scrounging around to find the beaters.
Since this was a new model, I assumed that the defective design had been fixed. Wrong! The snap on case is poorly designed and will not snap into place. Latch is set about 1/16th of an inch to low to clasp onto the mixer. It will never snap into place like it show on the photo. Don't know how it mixes since I took it back to Walmart. Sure would think the manufacturer would get a clue and fix the issue since it has been mentioned frequently in customer reviews. Guess I won't buy Hamilton Beach any more.

Don't buy it for the snap on case!

I returned the mixer because it was difficult for me to control. The speed control was difficult to reach with my thumb while holding the mixer.
