Great price and perfect little crock pot

I received my beautiful new Slow Cooker last night and it will be in service today!!  That big chicken I have in my fridge has a new destination today!  xo

I've never owned a slow cooker before and after reading all the reviews I decided to go with Hamilton Beach 6 quart. The size is big enough to fit a 7-8lbs chicken!! The box labeled fits perfect for a 6lbs chicken which is under selling the product. I bought a 7.58lbs whole chicken and it fitted in the slow cooker with ease!! I also added two whole carrots, one onion and some chopped garlic, it still leaves room for more ingredients!! Overall I am very happy with the result and will be making pull pork sandwiches this weekend, very excited. If you're deciding on what size to get I would recommend getting 6 quart. 6 quart is just the perfect size, not too big and not too small. Very satisfied! Price is unbeatable!!

Great slow cooker that does the job!

After 14 years my Rival slow cooker stopped working and I needed to replace it. I was a bit disappointed when I couldn't find that brand anymore. I searched Walmart and found this one made by Hamilton Beach.  After reading all the information/details I decided it would be the perfect replacement. I am extremely happy with my choice.  Very easy to use.  I am hoping that this lasts me as long as my other one did.

Happy with my purchase

I used it for the first time today to cook a roast and it came out perfect. It was nice and tender.
I am anxious to to try it for other meals. As a recently separated man, this is perfect for me to cook meals all day and come home to a nice warm meal.
I would highly recommend this slow cooker to anyone.

Great Slow Cooker

I purchased this particular slow cooker for its programmable feature and its size. I only feed two adults in my household, so I was looking for a smaller size cooker, as opposed to the popular eight-quart model. It still seems large for just two people, but I'm still experimenting with the amount of food. The programmable feature worked well the first use.
I would recommend this product. I have only used it once, but I am satisfied with the product.

It was dented when I received it

had one of these about 5 yrs ago but have moved and lost most things.  so, i liked this crockpot and ordered it again. clearly lighter, thinner and more cheaply made. lid not even close to fitting.  will return and go with a different brand and model. disappointed.

Lid doesnt fit

Bought this. It was defective.  The lid wobbled like it was warped.  With no clips nor straps it would release its heat and stewm during cooking.  It also had a pencil eraser sized in-glazed area on the upper rim of the ceramic liner. Don't know how it passed inspection.  Sadly, I had to  return  for another one. Opened in store. It had the same defect with the lid. Had to return it.  I really wanted this slow cooker.  As my small kitchen appliances have been wearing out I've been replacing them with red ones.  This was the only brand I've found that offered an 8 Qt Red Slow Cooker.  We finally settled on another brand while still in the store. While looking, my hubby and I were disappointed to find that Walmart had placed our originally returned defective slow cooker to their shelves to sell it again.  (The box was opened & we could see that exact unglazed marking on the rim.  All in all a very sad, bad, & time wasting adventure!
