Before first use, the cover to the blender is difficult to get off and on. But it appears to get easier as you use it - a bit of a “breaking in” period.

I've been wanting a blender for a while so now that I'm starting my bariatric weight loss journey I wanted to get a reliable, easy to use blender. I want to try different recipes for both smoothies, juices, etc. I just opened my product today and am so excited to try it out.

After a week of using this twice a day to make smoothies I am confident it's broken in well and capable of handling frozen fruit quite well especially the strawberries!

I got this blender mainly to make malts and shakes.  It works fine for that.  The pitcher is large, but still easy to use, easy to clean, and isn't too heavy when full. The blades circulate the mixture in the blender well, but large chunks of ice cream may need to me moved around to let the blades grabe them.  Something you should shut the blender off before trying.  I haven't tried something like margaritas yet, but I think it would work fine as long as you weren't making pitcher after pitcher at a party or for a large group.  It's low cost, probably will seem underpowered to someone who's used to a more powerful blender, but perfectly fine for someone wanting to make malts, homemade mayonnaise, or the occasional smoothie.

Lower cost, lower power, but still handy to have

Works well. Has many useful functions.  It has a very useful pouring spout. 
The only issue was the top is a little bit difficult to put but since it has a pouring spout it wasn't a big deal.

Great name brand blender for the price.

Good BLENDER, but nothing to seal or lock in LID COVER?
Have a hard time blending fruits while holding LID in place.

Descent BLENDER but...........

Paid for a new blender but received one that had obviously been returned.  Not even in the original box.   My smoothie leaked all over the counter when I tried to use it.   We received a Hamilton Beach Blender 50 years ago as a wedding gift and it hasn't leaked once! Still works better than this new one!

It says it has 12 functions, but in reality it has only 2. (button 1=off, button 2 and 3 are high and low, button 4 and 5 are pulse) I put it on high and it could not blend cooked carrots or cooked potatoes. Those are not hard to blend. This is not only misleading, but it's overpriced, overrated and simply does not work.

Great reviews so I thought it would be a sure thing, but I was quite disappointed.  The blade unit.  I couldn't cut a plastic bag with it.  It was dull as a door nob.  Useless.
