Ease Of Use

Provides strong steam output when required.

Allows for easy temperature control with straightforward settings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love Hamilton Beach products. This iron replaced the one I had for 6 years that stopped working. The retractable cord is a plus. Love how the clothes turn out.

Hamilton Beach Durathon Clothing Iron

walmart.com

Excellent product for my purpose: weekly ironing to remove wrinkles and sharpen creases in laundry items needing special attention after removing from the communal dryer in my senior living facility. May need to reread the Instruction Manual occasionally to better understand the various beeps and meaning of the visual display. Hoping its weight doesn't become an issue anytime in the future.

Duration Electronic Retractable Cord Iron

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The iron is very nice looking. Really like the retractable cord. When you push the steam button, lots of steam, more than any other iron I've used. The upright steamer is great for a quick touch up and the extra long cord makes it possible to reach curtains, etc. The only draw back is the weight.

Nice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd hamilton beach iron and they just get better each time. My husband wears uniform for work so we use the iron everyday. I love how the fabric options lights up on both sides when you turn the dial. If this one stops working i would definitely by the same as a replacement. Love it love it!!

Great Iron

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this iron and use it frequently for my quilting projects. The iron gets warm very fast and has reliable high and low temperature settings You can adjust the settings with the easy to use control knob, and it responds quickly. I like how the iron has a great shut off system, not too quick and not too slow. It also beeps if you leave it plugged it but not in use. The iron has great steam output, which provides excellent wrinkle removal. A nice long cord is handy and it's also retractable. I could not be happier with this iron and would recommend to a friend.

This iron is a great buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this iron for the first time a few weeks ago. I love how easy it is to use. It glides so nicely across my shirts and leaves them looking like they were professionally pressed. The self cleaning function is amazing. I have never had an iron that will self clean itself. Also, the iron does not leave burn marks as some other irons I have tried in the past did.

Perfect iron

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for a tried and true iron that always works and never lets you down. Look no further than this iron made by Hamilton Beach. This thing gets hot, provides steam when you need it and keep your cloths pressed to have you looking your best. This iron gets the job done and leaves no prisoners. Would recommend to anyone in the market for a new, reliable iron.

Great Iron!

It's OK, it's an iron

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The durathon iron is an affordable appliance, very sturdy and will get the job done! Non-stick, t is more durable than traditional irons.. Its steam output is nice, as well and you can even use it for vertical steaming of garments. The temperature control know is easy to grasp. The retractable cord is a great convenience, too.

Durathon Iron

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best part of this iron is the uniquely shaped sole plate. It's bottle nosed leading edge shaped which helps running between dress shirt buttons. Otherwise, there are some odd features that make this a little difficult to use. The filler hose is the smallest opening of any steam iron I've ever used. You need to be very careful or else the water you are pouring will go astray. Also, the on/off switch is in the center of the temperature setting dial and it's very difficult to reach to turn on/off. Because most people unplug the iron when done, it seems redundant to place a power switch where it's difficult to use. And my first two uses with this I've used the extra steam button liberally, and each time the iron leaves small spots of clean water on my shirts. That doesn't happen when power steam button is not used but I hope this water spotting stops with continual use.

Easy glide sole plate. Great steam.
