[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was tired of trying to get my Black and Decker waffle iron to make proper waffles.  I checked other brands and stumbled on this Hamilton Beach model.  The reviews were way up there.  I ordered and tried it.  I am more than pleased with my purchase.  Waffles on Sunday morning now.

While there are many waffle makers out there, I really wanted a product that allows you to remove the grids for easier washing. I've been using this product for several months and I have had no issues. The quality of the product is excellent with some nice amenities such as the drip pan. Waffles come out crispy outside and soft inside and is exactly as what I expected.

Excellent %26 Easy to Clean Waffle Maker

What convinced me to buy this waffle maker was the removable grid pans.  My last waffle maker was a commercial two waffle heavy duty beast.  It finally broke down and I vowed my next one would have removable grids.  This one is lightweight, and I just put the grids in the dishwasher.  I use this at least three times a week for french toast, waffles and sandwiches.

My wife has been wanting a good Waffle Maker. I got her a different brand and it sucked. I saw this and the price was reasonable so I bought it for her. She was like I don't know if it's worth it but after that first waffle we were both very very pleased. It doesn't stick and is very easy to clean by hand or dishwasher.🧡🧇

This was the only Belgian waffle maker with removable cooking grids.  Chose for Easter if maintenance, stainless steel covers and the Hamilton Beach Superior design features.  Have several Hamilton Beach products that have outlasted other brands service life .  Product design and material quality exceeds all others.

i love this waffle iron. So easy to use. i like the fact that the plates are removable  and dishwasher safe. i also like that you can adjust the browness of the waffles. this is a god one. i use it pretty much every Sunday morning.

Great Waffle Iron.

I love me some waffles and it's easy enough to cook on this but it overflows very easily and the timer doesn't work.  Cheap product, not a cheap enough price.

upgrade to a better one.

It worked great, I was making some great waffles on Sundays, but then I put the grates in the dishwasher and that's when it started sticking. Don't put your grates in the dishwasher!

Even though it says they're dishwasher safe there must be some kind of coating on them that comes off when you run them through the dishwasher.

This is the 2nd one I've had. The first one worked great. I used it nearly every day for well over a year until it started sticking and cooking unevenly.  I have only had this one for a few weeks and the waffles constantly stick and the top and bottom don't cook evenly.  Generally a good product, but save your receipt and test early.  Luck of the draw I guess,  but at the price I will probably try a same replacement

Hamilton Beach is one of my favorite products which is why I ordered this waffle maker but it is made of nothing but soft plastic with the exception of the waffle making area ( i.e. plates and base). This one is complete crap it broke in the first use, why...b/c the handle and base are made of plastic!!!! Can't have a waffle maker base of soft plastic especially when the maker needs to be turned when making a waffle...The Cooks waffle maker is a better product than this one WHY, b/c the base is made of HARD PLASTIC making it a better product. The only thing I don't like about it is plates are not removable which makes it hard to clean and was the reason for purchasing this one.
