only had it a month , not a hint of the horror stories of cleaning of juicers . I love it . I juice a gallon at a time . then put residue stuff ( skins and peels) and run that stuff thru my nutri bullet and waalaa no waste. because a lot of the vitamins and nutrients are in the skin/peel. I hope this helps someone.

I read reviews for weeks before I bought it... I watched YouTube videos and really "knew my product" before purchasing it. After using it for a couple weeks I can say just a couple things...
1. DEFINITELY put a plastic shopping bag in the pulp catcher thing... It makes it SO much easier to clean up!!
2. The blade/strainer part is a pain in the you know what to clean.. I re commend hot soapy water and the nifty little scrubby brush instead of the dishwasher for sure!
3. It is LOUD and I mean LOUD... My husbands first thing to say was "dang that things loud" and he'd been working in his office on the other end of the house
4. Sweet potatoes and carrots make it "dance" as my children say.. It's a bit wild with those so I recommend you hold the top down with one hand and do the rest with the other.

This was a great choice for us and I am very happy with our buy!

Great juicer! So glad we got this one!

I have used now for a few weeks and is my first juicer, but I like how easy it is to assemble and clean. a tip I received was to juice in a selection of soft, hard, soft, hard items, that way the harder items help wipe away the soft ones. Another thing is to wrap the smaller leafed up with a bigger leafed item - it seems to help with the process. Happy Juicing and stay healthy!

great performance

I went through and read probably about 20 or 30 of the 700 reviews that were on here. I took several people's different advice in order this one because it had such great reviews. I took it apart before I used it so I knew how to put it back together and how to take it apart once it was dirty. I used it today to make a drink. I did do prep beforehand cutting up the vegetables and not putting anything in their whole like other reviews recommended. It was very easy to use. I did use the pulp that was left over to make a smoothie so I did not have any waste as recommended by another reviewer. I thought that was very smart because the pulp and the skin have all the vitamins or a lot of the vitamins so I thought that was super smart. I cleaned up right after I used it so I never let anything dry on the blades or the plastic. clean up was very simple rinse it off with hot water each of the individual parts and pieces. very easy to take apart clean up rinse off scrub off with a bottle rush so I had a long handle with soap and water put it in the dishwasher to dry and then once it's dry this afternoon I will put it back together so I can use it again tomorrow. did a great job juicing was very easy to take apart and I really enjoyed it and will be using it everyday. It was very loud so my kids told me but I expected that. One speed, machine only has an on/off button!

I have had it for about 2 weeks, and I have used it almost everyday. My biggest worry was that cleaning it would be a huge pain, but it is really super easy, and only takes about 4 or 5 minutes.  It is really powerful, and does a TON of veg very quickly, and makes a ton of juice with only a moderate amount of pulp.  This is my first and only juicer, so to be fair, I have nothing to compare it with, but I am EXTREMELY happy with my purchase.

Exceeded Expectations!

I am new to juicing so didn't know if I would like this or stick with it, so I wanted a juicer that wasn't too expensive. This is not only the cheapest one I found, but it also had good reviews. I've only used this for 3 days, but so far, I'm VERY impressed. It is loud(as people said) but not louder than I would expect(about like a vacuum cleaner), I get a good amount of juice from it, and the juice is GOOD! I clean it right away after using and clean up has been easy. I DO use a grocery bag in the catcher bin and that makes it MUCH nicer to clean up, I would HIGHLY recommend everyone do that. It is very easy to use and unless it falls apart on me in the near future, I'm very happy with this purchase. I would highly recommend this juicer.

Cheap and NICE

I purchased this juicer to produce high alkaline juice from fruits and vegetables to help fight my bladder cancer and diabetes. The shortcoming is that it separates the juice from the pulp, roughage, skin, fibers, etc...all things that I need in my diet. I have gone back to using a blender to produce a slurry of fruits and vegetables which contains the solid that I need. There is nothing wrong with the juicer if all you want is juice and I would recommend it highly for that purpose.

It's great...but I returned it

Cutting up your produce into smaller pieces say to 1/2 1/3 or1/4 their original size diminishes the stress on the strainer hardware. Using a plastic bag for the large pulp receptacle is a must for easier cleanup. Have soapy warm water ready and waiting to swish all dismantled parts except for the motorized base. Never submerge this base! Cleaning the strainer with its soft brush is easy. Gentle scrubbing with alternating submerging the strainer in the soapy water then rinsing will clean it nicely. You could air dry the strainer but I lightly press a paper towel on the strainer mesh to soak up any excess moisture to prevent any possibility of rust. Make sure all other parts are dry then reassemble with a paper towel in the pulp receptacle, a paper towel in the strainer and lastly a paper towel in the juice collection container. I always cover the juicer with a large plastic bag to keep it dust free and ready for my next juicing adventure. The sound is no noisier than a regular blender. I am happy with my purchase.

Excellent choice for a first time juicer

I was using a bullet for juicing and decided to try this inexpensive juicer to see the difference. I was amazed at the speed; most juicers have only 400 rpm power and this one has 800. It juices a whole apple in about 2 seconds. The only problem I have is that the pulp is all over the machine when finished. The instructions say "rinse machine after each use" and I see why but it takes longer to clean up than it does to juice and consume. It works great for the purpose for which I bought it. The more expensive ones probably make as much mess on the machine parts, you just don't see that on the infomercials. I do use a bag liner to save a little time on clean up and save most of my pulps for baking fiber as suggested because I miss that extra fiber. I recommend this to anyone starting out juicing. It is inexpensive, fun to use, and makes great juice. Professional juicers are for more professional or commercial operations I think.

During the first week this juicer was everything my daugter hoped it to be, but then it seemed to have more in the waste container than her glass. She returned it and was told that they had heard that complaint before. The girl in customer service was super nice which made the whole return process easy.
