I love to eat crushed ice every night. This machine is my dream come true. It's noisy but I figured as a ice crusher it would be so this doesn't bother me. The ice crushes fast and taste as soft as snow, Definitely a thumbs up from me. I even purchased a 3 year warranty for just $3.00 more that has great coverage.

I have had other slushie makers and this is by far the best. It makes the perfect ice for slushies and a separate setting for snow cones. It's quick, easy and the kids love them.

Kids love it!

This is much better than the kid friendly one we bought for the same price last year. Like that it is fast and easy to clean. Also simple to operate. Very good product!

Good for normal uses.

Works great.  Its loud, but its the best one compared to other ice treat makers.  Its not slushi machine, but it breaks up the ice and makes a great frozen treat.

The ice isn't as fine as I would like but it uses regular ice cubes and shaves as well as mixes snow cones and slushies. I use it as a slush/smoothie maker for lots of healthy treats:) Great to have on those hot summer days. And it's easy clean up dishwasher safe.

Does what it's supposed to shaves Ice!

When filled with ice cubes, the motor has sufficient power to shave fast and with ease. But with less ice cubes remaining and less weight on the blades, the ice cubes bouncing around, rather then getting shaved. The should be some spring-loaded plate on top or similar.

It does the job - eventually

I actually got 2 of these. One came & was missing a piece, so I ordered another &  it didn't work. It would just spin the ice around. I maybe got 2 shavings. Not even worth it.

Didn't even work!

We attempted to make a slushie with this and were very disappointed. It took close to an hour to crush enough ice and by the time we had enough, it was mostly all melted. It's very noisy as well. We ended up returning it to the store.

Don't waste your money

Unfortunately - the unit I received did not work at all. I can't recommend this to anyone.

If You Like Slushies Without Slush...

I returned it . I use a kitchen aid blender and it is much better than this at crushing ice.
