This is excellent. No cords to unplug and best of all you can program it to heat up before you get up in the morning. You select keep warm up to an hour. Wish the time was longer but you could always just turn it on and with a minute or two it's up to temp. It beeps loud when it's ready and when you press the buttons. And when it's shutting off.

Very nice programable tea kettle with various water temp settings. I like that i can set the time and water temp for the next morning the night before and wake up with hot water for my tea. Heats up water really fast and easy to clean with white vinegar....Clean classic looking and easy to program. This also has auto shut off safety feature. great buy👍🏻 
We drink a large variety of teas👉🏻BLACK, GREEN, WHITE and a lot dif herbal teas that all take dif temp water and this has programs for each, even jasmine tea..

Pro:  Solid, feature-rich kettle.  Both attractive and sturdy.
Con:  Having lost a similar, same-brand kettle due to old age (electrical failure), I was hoping to get an exact replacement.  None could be found.  This item feels heavier and more bulky.  Display, for my senses, favors dark  recesses.  Would prefer it to be always on and not only when controls are being engaged.  Additionally, greater contrast in the display would be more to my liking.

We bought this Hamilton Beach Professional kettle for our kitchen several years ago, and it's still working. We like it so much that we've now bought a second one for my office. I use the green "delicate tea" setting mostly. I don't use the programming functions on the left.

I would give it a 5 star if could be easier to see the volume in it. Hard to read. Brought it only for delay start option. Great to wake up in the morning and the water it ready for the tea 😀

This kettle is heavy when filled with water. Inside rusts. Water leaks from base after a year. Not surprised this model was discontinued.
