I purchased this fryer for a family feed. My grand daughter made french fries that were very good and just "toast" brown and took 9 to 10 minutes. You have to tend to them . When she was finished I prepared a pint of fresh steamer clams and battered them. 365 degrees for 2-1/2 minutes and they were golden brown and done perfectly. We thought we were sitting on the coast in Maine enjoying a fried clam dinner with fries. Absolutely fantastic. The cover has a small window to check progress and a vent to release steam away from you and everything fits together very nicely. Read the instructions on how to put the handles on the baskets. It comes with 3 baskets, 1 large and 2 small that are almost 1/2 the size of the large basket. Very versatile and I'm glad I bought it. Yeah, More fried clam, please!

Deep Fryer

I really enjoyed using this fryer no burnt chicken but for my countertop space I should have ordered the smaller one, then  for 3 grown growing men I am glad that I picked and stuck with this size....clean up to me was very easy but it requires a lot of oil....

Perfect Fried Chicken

I really like this thing. The capacity is huge for a home fryer, I did 2 dozen chicken wing segments in it to christen it without any problems at all. Takes a little longer to heat than an average fryer but that's to be expected as there is a lot of oil to get up to temperature. That being said, the oil temp doesn't drop a lot when you put your food in, again due to the large capacity of oil. It also has deep sides that results in most of the spatter being contained inside the fryer instead of making it's way to whatever surface you put it on. The only complaint I have is the chord is quite short but I just used an extension chord without any issues. I would highly recommend this

Large, holds heat, nice controls, great fryer

I can say nothing wrong about this fryer. It is perfect for just about everything. The convenience of two baskets makes frying ten times better. You can also fry with just one but I like to cook my fries and cheese sticks at the same time. I love it!!

Perfect Fryer for a Family

We upgraded to this deep fryer and have used it a few times now. Our old deep fryer only had one setting... on so this one having an adjustable heat setting is great. It holds lots of french fries which is good if you are cooking for quite a few people. Love the fact that it comes with two smaller baskets as well. It is also so easy to clean.

Great deep fryer

This is the second time I purchased this deep fryer. Unfortunately, the first one kicked the bucket after a few years. I tried another brand, but it wasn't as good as this; so, I had to buy this again.

Second Purchase

We just got this a few weeks ago and have used it several times. Heat up time is good, and it's easy to use. Not a fan of the break-away cord, but it stays attached quite well. Though I do think it may become a problem in the future.
Makes excellent home fries, and with the multiple baskets and sizes I can cook everything to each persons tastes.

Excellent Family size

Temp won't go above 300 and recovery is slow which means food will soak in the oil longer than necessary.

This deep fryer is very well made but it is very heavy. Once you add a large bottle of oil (stand it in the fryar to test) the weight is far too much for me to lift into my appliance storage cupboard. It needs an empty and filled weight displayed on the box to help future customers. I am 81 years old and quite fit but I cannot handle such heavy appliances.

Lovely unit but very heavy when filled.

I loved this fryer at first. But this was purchased in January and it isn't cheap, it's only the beginning of October and it has already stopped working. The green light indicator stopped working first to let you know it has reached temperature. Then the heating element all together will not heat. I am disappointed.
