Indoor Use Warning for Gas-Fueled Appliances

Worked exactly as advertised. Heats up very quickly without heating up the room. I use it in my Travel Trailer so the stove doesn't heat up the whole place.

I've been using an induction cooktop for a long time.  It's just like having gas only better.  The cooking starts immediately and stops when you turn it off.  It's simply amazing.  At Thanksgiving I knew I needed another one.  It was either buy a new cooktop or get a new stove, electric just wasn't cutting it.  I only use two burners at a time so this is perfect.  These do use a lot of Watts so if you have different circuit to plug it in to that helps.

The ONLY way to cook

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first induction stovetop and it surprised me how hot it gets so quick. charred the first couple of meals, but once i figured out the settings I much prefer it to gas. I like that it contains the heat well and the fan isn't too loud. controls are simple and easy to understand.

Simple controls

The burner is quite a bit bigger than I expected and can easily hold a large soup pot. It's does heat the contents quickly as compared to a gas stove. The lowest temp is 175 and I haven't tried the max yet. 

The only reason this isn't a 5 is that it is noisy. It like a 24” house fan.

Does the Job Quickly but Noisy

I liked the appearance, weight, and overall experience until I got the second unit from Changbert.
This HB unit is very noisy compared to the changbert.
I'm keeping both units anyway, but if you are looking for something better, go with changbert.
It has bigger coil size 8" and very quiet!!!

Good but not so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It turns out that not all pans work on an induction cooking surface.  I didn't realize this until I opened the package, and saw the little magnet card they provide for testing:  if it sticks to the bottom of your pan, then it CAN be used on the cooktop.  So we spent nearly $70 to use for one pan in our household!  Luckily, it's the pan we would want to use anyway (we got it to cook the things that smell up the house out on the lanai).  Perhaps the item listing included that information -- I missed it if it did.  I probably would still have purchased for the reason stated above -- coil units just don't offer cooking surfaces larger than 7" and the induction until offers 10".

Be careful choosing this item.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a sleek induction cooktop but there seems to be some quality control issues. It sometimes turns off on its own when it can't detect the induction compatible pans even though at other times it works perfectly fine with the same pans. The mechanism is perhaps too sensitive.

It heats your cooking vessel up very quickly. The only problem is that your pots and pans have to be conductive. Such as stainless steel or cast iron. A magnetic strip is included in the box for you to test your pot or pan to see if it can be used.  I have a favorite stainless steel pot with a copper bottom that I use for popcorn. I can't use it on this burner.

I find that they said you can easily adjust the temperature you are cooking with to the exact temperature you want.. However, if you think, each press of the   button is 150 degrees or more is good, then you will be happy. To me, that's ridiculous. It starts at 175 and increases all the way up to 450 degrees. if you want 210 degrees, that's impossible.    

So this is so wrong. I wanted this to be my second induction unit.  It's not my first choice now. I'd rather use my NewWave. Induction unit because I can control the temperature in 5 degree increments. What's the temperature in my life right now? And quick temps are labeled Low, Medium, medium high etc. No such markings on this. Induction unit.

I purchased this item from Walmart. It was sent to me from Amazon. On the outside of the box it has a sticker stating. Amazon Warehouse, Great deals on used items. When I open the box I found it all retapped   The box was was ripped. The unit was all scratched up. With a ticket saying thank you for your Amazon purchase.  I called Walmart and on there behalf, they did refund my purchase price in a timely manner
