Hamilton Beach cordless kettle

This pot is so LOUD while it's heating. We've had several pots similar to this one and none of those are this loud. The pot heating wakes everyone I. The house up I. The morning so it's basically unusable. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

I absolutely do not recommend this product or the brand. My kettle has gotten stains on it just after 4 months of regular usage. I put nothing in it except water and haven't left it on for a long time or anything like that. Not only does the stains pose a health risk, it is also wrong to sell something as stainless steel when in reality it can easily get stains. And finally, when I sent these images to the company, they replied by saying that they can send a new one to me, provided I pay the shipping fee, which was more than half the price of the kettle itself!! Terrible product, terrible service.

Stained in 4 months

I read some of bad reviews and imagined what to expect, but hoped it won't be like that. Unfortunately, after 1st trial to boil water, there was a leakage of boiling water through turn on button, which is not safe at all. Returned the next day of purchase.

It is already forming white residue and it has been less than 3 weeks since we got it

Very quick to form white residue

There was a thick oily yellow residue on the inside when I received it.  I wiped it out and washed it with soap and water, rinsed it, boiled a number of pots full of water in it, boiled a pot full of water with vinegar in it and then a number of pots full of water in it, boiled a pot full of water with baking soda in it and then a number of pots full of water in it.  Nothing removes the bad taste it imparts to beverages made with its heated water.  Do not buy.

Misleading. Bought this in the hopes of not consuming boiled plastic water, but the inside has the plastic part you view the water level.
