For the price it works great.  Perfect amount of steam and holds a good amount of water.  Use it daily and have had 0 problems.

This iron really gets the job done. I hang clothes on a line and have a lot of ironing. It handles things like sheets with ease. I especially like the retractable cord which makes the iron easy to store. It is a little heavier than my previous iron.

This is a very nice iron. It is made of quality material yet light and easy to move.  It puts out a good amount of steam. I highly recommend this iron.

Very nice iron

Love this new iron. Its steam power is great! Don't have to keep going back over areas to remove wrinkles...wish I had purchased it earlier.  Makes ironing a breeze.

Makes ironing a breeze

Iron itself work well.  Only deficiency is retractable cord stops about 12 inches out.  Tried pulling it out and attempted again, but still doesn't retract all the way.  I have had this issue with other retractable cords and would just as soon not have them.  However, all the irons available on the day I shopped had them.  For the price, I'm happy with the iron.

Even though the iron gets hot, it's still not hot enough to where I don't have to iron longer over my clothes  including my uniforms. Then when I use the water to iron the clothes better it's a long process. The water goes very fast. Weight wise its great. Performance I'm nit impressed.

No Better Than My Old Iron

The iron is too heavy and bulky.  The 'fill' hole is on a weird angle so is very hard to pour water into.  I have to tip the iron in an angle, hold a small funnel, then pour water into the funnel to fill the reservoir.  I need 3 hands to do this maneuver.     
 Also, the retracting cord did not work the second time I used the iron.
Very disappointed, as I have bought many Hamilton Beach items in my life..

Do not purchase

This iron is a piece of a crap. Stopped working properly within the 1st 3 months. I tried to iron my clothes the other day, but the heating function wouldn't turn on. My clothes looked worse after I used it, than before. Might as well got a rock, like in the olden days, because I suppose it would've done a better job getting the wrinkles out of my clothing.

sometimes releases unwanted water, cores are easliy tangley, kind of too heavy without water for any hands.
