It is very convenient to be able to sear it on the stove and cook it in the same pan. It works really well and cooks nicely. It was super easy to clean afterwards too. It is of great quality and I love it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This slow cooker is beautiful in it's designed. I love the color and finish. All the components are of high quality. I really like the browning capabilities of it. I was able to brown my roast on the stove eye and then transfer the cooking pot into the base to proceed with my recipe. So easy. The slow cooker cooked just a little bit faster than my old one but I believe it is due to being able to brown directly in the cooking pot. This is a super nice feature. I was able to clean it up very easily. The only thing I wish were different are the handles on the base. I wish they were just a bit larger. However, the nice large ergonomic handle on the lid and the made in handles on the cooking pot make up for that.  Overall a great product! I am so glad to have this as a replacement for my old one.

it's great because you can seared in the pot over the stove. I like it cause it doesn't have any electronic settings and lights and beeping. just old fashioned cooking ways.

Very light weight, which is great. Does not include carrying straps, so lid is loose when transporting.

Light and basic slow cooker

Works good. removable croc is pretty lite duty.

The only redeeming factor was the ability to sear or brown meat in the crockpot, saving cleaning time 
Thisl slow cooker works just as well as my own HB slow cooker so the only advantage was the stovetop use for searing. That now raises the question is it possible to use other slow-cooker innercrocks the smae way or is this a totally different crock composition. Not very impressed except as a stovetop browning pot.

Like: It's inexpensive, it did fine enough for a potluck at work. It's nice to be able to use it on the stove.

Dislike: No lid holder- that's extra. It's a very thin material. Cheaply made. If you need a sturdier slow cooker, spend the extra money for a good one.

Does the job, but doubt it will hold up.

I bought this, in part, for the way the pot could be secured for travel.  They were missing. The pot is heating well but I still didn't get what I paid for.
