Magnifying Glass makes my life easier!

I wanted a simple magnifying glass that had a neck strap so that I could use it for needlepoint.  That's what I THOUGHT I was getting.  I was so surprised when I realized that the "handle" was also a flip down stand, which allows the "glass" to pivot, making it into a sturdy table reader....just like that!  I should also say that the lights are super bright.  I could not be happier with my purchase.

Great find at a greater price!

Would like to have the spot magnifier at 6 X magnification instead of 4. 
Balances good. 
Sturdy battery compartment. 
Kickstand is secure.

I am extremely well satisficed with my purchase of this product it will fit my needs extremely well. Since I suffer from Glaucoma and Retina vein occoulsins this product is very handy for my needs. My only con for this is I felt that the manufacture could have included battery's with this product which sadly they did not for the price that was paid .

Awesome Product

I've been doing work where I sometimes get splinters in my fingers and I wanted a magnifying glass that was hands free in order to remove the splinters. As other reviews have stated, the light is very dim and almost useless, but worse than that, the lens is of very cheap quality and it greatly distorts anything you are trying to see through it. It also made me feel dizzy looking looking through it, and I can't imagine trying to use it for any length of time. So, I'm returning it to the store

Cheap lens distorts what you're trying to see.

Received as a gift. Was good about 4 months then had trouble to turn on and get it to stay on, switch is junk. To change batteries, you have to flip out "badly designed" stand "before" you get to the battery case, then hold down "small" clamps to pry battery case open. "VERY BAD" design. "Hold-up stand" is junk also. Plastic rubber used on the ring that holds the glass turns to sticky soft junk after a year. I kept this in my crochet bag which was always in controlled air environment, so it was "not heat" that made it deteriorate. It is not worth the $14 from Walmart.

Bad Light Switch Design, Bad Rubber Material Used

Purchased this Dritz magnifier in store.  I purchased for seeing my needlepoint better.  I found the lens to be distorted.  It had a weird inner magnification.  It made my needlepoint look distorted and made me dizzy looking at it.   I had to place really close to stop the distortion.   The light is very dim.   Not worth the $17.   Returning it.
