My son has been wearing these for years, he is over 21,get the comfort soft waistband, VERY important, nice soft fabric on the band, so they don't chafe,(why don't they do this to bras????) hubby just told me to get him some...no ride up for sure..a change from tighty whities for the old man...

I have ordered boxer briefs from Hanes before, so when it was time to purchase more Hanes was the first place I went.  While I like the product, I did have a question about it and sent an email to Hanes through their website.  This was about 2 1/2 weeks ago and I still have not had a response.

Overall these are a nice pair of boxer briefs but the waistband is a still a problem. The waistband is slightly too narrow for the way the elastic is made into it. A little bit of the stitching and elastic is exposed and can bite into and rub on your waist. I'll have to see if it will get any better after a few times of having them washed.

These are good but could be better

Hanes Comfort Soft Boxer Briefs were always my go-to casual everyday underwear. They have changed the fit of these. The stitching for the thigh is much tighter and the overall material quality is not nearly as good. It's kind of itchy and not nearly as soft as it used to be. I won't be buying this brand again.

Not the same as it used to be

I purchased these thinking they would be the same as the Fruit of the Loom brand I already have. So in short they are not. The fabric is thinner more like a loose fit brief so the fit is not as supportive. Product is satisfactory but compared to Fruit of the Loom I'll never buy Hanes again.

Quality not as good as Fruit of the Loom brand

I bought this product about a month ago and I am EXTREMELY disappointed...I own many pairs of these underwear which were made of better quality..The fabric is much thinner...I like the thicker one that I purchased in the past...I now have to go and find another brand as I will never purchase these again.

Changed Product Quality

My husband has been wearing this brand and style for years and years but I think I've bought the last package. The first two pair out of the package ripped on the crotch the first time he wore them. The third pair was at least 2 sizes smaller than what I bought.

What happened to quality control?!?!?!?

My husband has worn Hanes Boxer Briefs for many years. As some of his are getting pretty worn, I ordered him some new ones. These are terrible! As soon as I opened the package, I could tell the fabric was not the same. They are very thin, and the material isn't soft. I washed them with fabric softener before giving them to him to try, but it didn't help. His comment was that the waistband was very irritating, because the stitching was was stiff and scratchy. Very disappointing.

Not made like they used to be...

Back around 2010 I bought some ComfortSoft Boxer Briefs. They were great! They were soft and comfortable. The top and bottom seams stayed put. Eventually I replaced all the other briefs I had with these excellent ones from Hanes. Over the years they wore out and I tried to replace them. The current products are very disappointing. They seem chintzy, the material is thin, and the folded-over seams at top and bottom are narrower. The worst part is the stitching around the waistband—which was so soft and comfortable in the old version—is stiff and scratchy. In warm weather it digs into your skin. I would happily pay 2x or 3x to buy the old high quality version of this product.

Hanes boxer briefs were great, now they kinda suck

With a name like Comfort Soft it seems like the intention was to make it feel soft. But run your finger along the inside of the band and it feels like razor wire! It doesn't feel an better when you're actually wearing it.
Way worse than just the regular elastic bands.

Looks great, terrible feel
