I bought this brand of sock in Walmart a while back  but have been unable to find them in the store recently. I ended up buying them on the Hanes website. I like them because they are slightly smaller than the so-called one size fits all. I wear a size eight shoe. If you have large feet, these socks will be too tight. There are plenty of other socks you can be happy with. But if your feet run smaller than average, these will be very comfortable.

One size fits all- on what planet?

I am a woman with small feet -- shoe size 7. I ordered these because this type of women's socks are so small. These men's socks fit me well, they are not too big -- AND the sock goes up my leg for several inches, unlike the short ladies socks. THEY ARE WONDERFUL.

Great socks for WOMEN

The only thing that drops a star off for me is I have large calves and the band definitely digs into the leg. Not uncomfortable during the day but a little at night when I take them off. Time will tell if this changes as I wear them longer.  

Other than that, fit well and seem to have good cushioning in heel and ball of foot. I look forward to seeing how long they last till they need replacement.

Fit well

I bought these a few weeks back and have worn them since.  They are a good, functional crew sock for general wear.  Does the "Fresh IQ" thing mean anything?  Can't tell.  As inexpensive and functional socks, they are good. These are not socks for trail or off trail hiking.  These are great for mowing the lawn, heading to the Mall.

Great elastic if you need a turnicate

These are not as cushiony as I had hoped. Rather thin and unwearable during winter months.

Disappointing

I had decided to only buy one type of sock so that I never have to worry about matching them, so I bought a couple dozen Hanes crews. But every week I have to throw out some because the heels wear out rapidly. I'm not jogging, or doing outside work. This is just from indoor office work, and not over a very long time. In a matter of months they wear out. Very unhappy.

Socks wear out rapidly

At one time, Hanes "dry" socks were roomy, fluffy, nicely cushioned, came to mid-calf and were generally good comfortable casual socks to wear as knockarounds with sneakers. None of those descriptions, despite the advertised characteristics, apply to these socks. I'm sorry I spent the money...won't believe Hanes again.

Too Thin, Too Tight, Not Fluffy

I always buy and for everyone bras undies and socks but these socks my husband hates he says they are extremely tight! Never have we bought tight socks from Hanes would not recommend these!

Too tight! Right size but cuts off circulation!

My husband is a hard working guy, and needs a work sock which seems to be harder to find now a days. So I thought I would try these. Well, I thought I picked a good sock. They wont stop shrinking! They get smaller everytime I wash them. They are ready for a little boy's feet. So I am on the hunt again. I am so disappointed that they didn't work.
