Collar Fit

I ordered t-shirts in 2x for my husband who is bed ridden. They are definitely true to size, great quality, and launder beautifully. Would definitely recommend Hanes products.

T-shirts.

Hanes

I 've owned this 'type' of Hanes T-shirt for years. Bought several at a time - several times. The previous ones were always 'tagless' - these are NOT tagless. Furthermore - the cotton in this batch is much stiffer than previous batches - even after laundering with fabric softener.

Not as good as they used to be...

5 stars for color. 1 star for fit! I needed this exact color of shirt to go with my favorite pants. I bought 8 maroon shirts everywhere online hoping for a match. But this Hanes was the ONLY correct color. However, Hanes didn't HAVE it in women's or in smaller men's sizes. Lucky me! I can sew! So I bought the remaining XXXXLg men's size, and easily cut out a perfect shirt for myself. Great match! What do you think? Yes, I'm old- 76! Girls in my generation ALL knew how to sew!

When you can't find this shirt in YOUR size

The color and fabric are great, but the cut seems to be more of a slim fit than a general one, and while that may be great for many of your younger customers, it's tight for some of us older ones. And going up a size doesn't help in my case; the Large is too large. Believe me, I'd love to drop a few pounds to a slim fit size, but for now your Ts are a tight squeeze.

Medium T-shirts Are a Tight Squeeze

There's too much inconsistency in manufacturing. Various lengths, width in the shoulder, neck circumference, and fabric quality are all present within the same color shirt ordered at the same time. I'm sure some are from different runs than another but that shouldn't make a difference in size. Yes, the tags can be ripped out. But why not make them without tags? Hanes used to sell some pretty nice plain t-shirts that were tagless and with consistent sizing.

Inconsistent product. No quality control

honestly, these shirts are terrible. I got them because my True Classic, which feel great, have bad collars so I figured I'd give Hanes a shot. First, the sizing is all off. The shirts fit like tents, no conforming to normal size bodies. Second, the shirts feel like burlap. Terrible quality of material. I washed them to see if it made a difference and it did not. I already gave these away to good will.

t-shirts

I'm very disappointed. A cold water wash after trying them after my purchase and they shrank a full size or more! 3 shirts I paid for and don't have. I'm no laundry rookie either!

Shrink, shrank, shrunk!

I ordered six shirts... two light gray, two medium gray, and two dark gray. The material was different in all three pairs, and they were differing degrees of stiff and scratchy, not the soft cotton as expected. I won't wear them, even after washing. Beware the cheapest Hanes T-shirt. I really don't think Hanes should sell them.

No Stars

I had some Hanes tees from many years ago that were a soft, comfortable fabric andheld up well over time. They dont make them like that anymore. The fabric was very rough cotton and it did not soften with washing. It felt just awful against my skin. The finishing was poor. And the shirts shrank with the first washing. The sizing was already running a bit small. Basically in comparison to the past quality, these were awful. Would rather them be more expensive and made like before.

Rough fabric, poor finishing, do not buy!

This is trash. I feel so sorry to buy this for my son. The material made my son felt uncomfortable, even I washed them. Now I just put them somewhere. I used to trust Hanes material so much and I bought their shirts year over year. BUT, this time, I change my mind. maybe never again.

Don't waste your money on this
