These shorts are really nice. The material is not see through and is soft. At first I thought I wouldn't like the length but the coverage is great without being too long.

They look and fit nice. I am 5'4" and 230 lbs. I bought a size 2x. They come down just below my knees, but I still like them for around the house or exercising.

I'm very happy

These shorts cover my knees.  They are high cotton content which is comfortable in AZ summer.  The pockets are nice and do not add bulk.  I think that for the price, they are perfect for me.  I am 5'1" tall and weigh 170.  I have large hips, 47".  The XL is loose and comfortable.  The Large is too tight.   Hope this helps.

XL Perfect and comfortable for me.

I was so surprised that these shorts were perfect in every way. I am 5ft 6.5 inches, and weigh 150.  My belly is larger than I like, but thats how it is.  (I love to drink wine while I cook). The shorts were bought just as work shorts and over-the-bathing suit shorts.  But I wear them everywhere.  Because of the cuff, they can be worn practically anywhere, and the material is soft and washes well. I Love them.

Surprise!  Trust that you will love these shorts.

These are just like the excellent French terry pocket capris…except unlike the capris, which have a proper, turned-under hem, these shorts have an unfinished, upturned hem, which makes them look dorky and sloppy. And it will not be at all easy to unstitch them at the side seams to turn the hem under, without damaging the shorts. Why did anyone think this was a good idea? Really a shame, as otherwise these have the same comfy wide waistband, good drawstring, comfortable fit and lovely navy color as the capris.

All good, except the upturned, unfinished hem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One pair was missized from Hanes. The stamped tag inside the shorts said XXL and the actual inside tag said XL. I ordered Xls. The one pair is very big compared to the other pairs so Hanes had it was incorrectly tagged on one of the tags.

I got these shorts in navy and gray.  They are well made, very comfy and easy wash and dry.  Rated 4 stars because the legs are kind of wide for me, but major issue is the cuff. It is tacked up, but sags between the tacks.  I took the tacks out and re-hemmed with a regular hem.  Who wants cuffs anyway... probably some kind of cost saving thing.

Comfort wise, they are decent. The picture was deceiving. The shorts go below my knees which is not what was shown in picture and not really what I wanted. Guess that's what you get with online shopping.

I ordered these and was extremely unsatisfied with the finish of them.  The legs were NOT finished, fraying fabric, no hem. I will keep these as the most expensive painting shorts I've ever bought.
