First, the bad. Unfortunately, it's not solid wood. The beams floor the frame are, but the rest is cheap MDF particle board. The garage door doesn't work, and the lights are very aggravating because you touch one, even really lightly, and they fall off.  

Some of the furniture pieces were glued together unevenly, so there's sharp edges. Feels really cheap. 

The good. 

The doll family is well made and plastic free. All of the furniture is made of real wood, and I love the simple modern design. I like that the design is gender neutral and all of the details on the walls in each room. It's nice to find a play house for boys that isn't bright shades of hot pink and barbie themed.

Overall great

Overall, not too hard to put together. The house itself is sturdy but the floors of the house are pretty flimsy. The stairs for each level don't stay in place. The lights on each floor do not have a strong enough magnet to hold them on so they constantly fall off. The house is cute, my 3 year old son enjoys playing with it. I would say if you had more than one child playing at a time this would not be the best option.
