I have used other therapy lamps in the past, but Happy Light Cordless is outstanding in comparison. The cordless feature and the convenient base mean that I can use it anywhere, anytime. The choice of colours and intensity means that I can find a setting that works for me. I've been using it for less than a week but already I've noticed an improvement in my mood. I also appreciate the lengthy warranty.

Easy to Use and Effective

My love for Verilux goes back almost 20 years---originally, I found a Verilux floor lamp with superior lighting ability to help my Mother with macular degeneration see better when doing her needlework.  It worked beautifully and secured Verilux into my mind as a reputable company with fine quality products.  Since then I've purchased 3 floor lamps and two light boxes.  They are all working in various spaces in my home and office.  I saw the new HappyLight Halo when shopping for my first replacement bulbs for one of my floor lamps.  I had given my son my rectangle happy light and I hadn't replaced it yet so the HappyLight Halo spoke to me and told me that it had a unique design where the light could be precisely positioned for optimum effect.  When I read about it further I discovered that it was chargeable and could be used without a direct connection to a wall socket! That was great news as I get into areas without a plug in.  The HappyLight Halo is a lovely light with a weighted stand that you can adjust very easily and, best of all, it can be used sans cord!  I use daily.  It provides great light as well as internal light balancing.  Another classy product from Verilux :)

This is a wonderful little light! I have been waiting for a cordless option. I only wish the charge would last a little longer as I use it at 100%. You get about 20 minutes. I love that you can set the lamp for any angle. Also love the brightness and color options.

Great little light!

Very good, few minor handling issues. I love the portability & circular shape, but the controls are hard (impossible) to see/feel (only thr power button is raised/has any tactile information) without turning the unit around/over, and the smooth surface is VERY smooth and since it's larger than a normal hand grip slips & slides around when handling it. It is great when on a table, I really enjoy the portability & charging/wireless features tremendously. I'd benefit from haptic/tactile feedback on the buttons/controls & possibly a handle or some sort of texture on the light itself. The timer function & cordless use are absolutely an upgrade from previous lights.

I  appreciate that I can now move freely for the 60 minutes I use my light every morning! The new round light gives me better light than the rectangle.

Excellent experience

I have purchased several "Happy Lights" from Verilux in the past. I have 2 daughters that deal with SAD and these really have helped.  This new style is great because both daughters work and travel and this will make it so much easier to take along.  I am waiting for more to be restocked because I only ordered one the first time and need at least one more for my other daughter and granddaughter.  So happy for this new versatility!

I like the light, but the charge doesn't last. It takes around 3 hours to charge, but the charge only lasts about an hour total. I thought getting the rechargeable one would make it easier to use, but when it has to be recharged so often, I'll have to use it with the plug it in to get much use out of it. The extra $ for the rechargeable are not worth it.

This is sort of awkward? i was so psyched for a cordless unit I could move around. But it keeps turning off. I charged it 24 hrs.before use. I set the time as the directions say. And the charge cord is awkward to plug in and take out with the stand. I like the magnetic stand, but it's awkward for me. Maybe the unit is too light? I guess I am getting old.

This fantastic! CORDLESS?! May be the best feature! It's a true therapy light for SAD not just bright light therapy. The flat, round surface area gives really even light over a larger area than most. Magnetic base is very strong and being able to rotate the light is such a great feature.
