Lately, I have  been watching a baking program  on TV and they used the ceramic beans to precook a pie shell.  It was fun  trying to mimic the television program. It was successful as they say on TV.  “No soggy bottom on the pie shells.” Successfully cooked.

These ceramic pie weights are a game changer for anyone who bakes pies that require crusts to be baked prior to adding the filling. We use to use foil filled with various things and it never quite worked with the pies coming out with strange indentations. These pie weights keep the weight even, and the crusts down! We will be buying more before Thanksgiving when we will be baking multiple chocolate pies!
