Love this I got it for my 12 year old sons chickens and it's hanging from a chain n works great the lid is easy for him to get off n fill and the chickens love it

This waterer is awesome. Ive been fighting with a different one for 5 years and never was I so happy when it sprung a leak and I could splurge on this one.

Really is easy fill

I had quite a bit of concern after reading some mixed reviews about this item on other sites. Many complained that it is too difficult to use and that it leaks. Leaks, as in water pours straight through it. I actually use it to supply water to a bee yard. As long as I keep the waterer fairly level, all I do is take off a plug to start the water flowing and keep adding water when I go to the bee yard. It does not seem to leak and always has water in the trough.

I'm happy with it. In hindsight, I would have gotten a smaller version. So far the bees, evaporation and probably a few other small critters only use about 1.5 to 2 gallons a week. The 6.25 gallon bucket is large and a 3 gallon would have worked fine. Also, dust and leaves blow into the trough and to clean it out I have to waste water by pouring out the contents and then clean it, or use water to flush out the trough which only does a half cleaning.

Works well, but almost too big for my needs.

After 3 days started leaking. The float inside fills with water and it just drains out on the ground leaving birds thirsty. I even found a video showing the issue and tons of people complaining. Company needs to stop selling it until they fix the problem.  I waisted my money on 2 of them.  Save your money.

Don't buy this, leaks!
