Bought this for my four -year-old and even though it’s for six and older, she has started to grasp how to play. It’s even enjoyable for her just to stick the pieces in and it entertains her for a while. The quality is good. The colors are bright and fun. And it’s a throwback to my childhood when I get to   her.

42 spaces seems like too small a board bîut once you place it is just right planning strategies.  We play all the chips into the slots then we get 9 points for each three in a row, 16 points for each four in a row, 25 points for five in a row and 36 for six in a row.   We play 3 games and add the three game scores the determine the winner.

More challenging than it appears.

This game is a classic. My kids are loving it! They have spent hours playing and trying different strategies to out-think each other and win the game. I love that they have to think things through and yet it is still so simple. It is simple enough my 3 year olds can play, but challenging enough that my 7, 10, and 13 year old, as well as my husband and I enjoy it too! Great, priceless game with endless fun!!!

I thought this was a simple game and easy to win. Wrong. It is challenging and I have found myself losing many times because I was not paying closer attention. You will love this game. I bought 2 of these, so others do not have to wait until while we are playing. Great game at a great price at Walmart. Easy ordering and pick-up.

Connect 4 is a great game and at a great price

Fun Game

This game was popular when I was younger so I thought my 6 yr old daughter would like it. It is a Christmas present so I don't know if she will or not but as much as she likes to play games I am sure she will. Especially on snowy days where there is nothing to do.

Oldie but goodie

My child absolutely loves this game even though she doesn't get it quite yet. She is all about making 4 in a row not blocking others. It is pretty funny. It is easy to put together, has instructions for the youngsters that shows them how they should play the game. That is nice. They should have made the character on the box look nicer my daughter does not want to be red because he looks mean.

Great game for kids 4+

Basic game with different coloring, plus extra game options, which we have not yet looked at. My only complaint is once you put it together, it's very difficult to take it apart the way it was put together so that it fits in the box (parts instead came apart that were put together when we opened the box).

The basic game you know and then some

Easy fun game for me and the kids to play together. Although I do remember the Connect 4 game I played with 30 years ago being made of higher quality. It is easy to see that this game could easily break if you arent careful.
