I really like this board game. It has so many functions. Primarily brings the family together. Second, it helps children and adults to challenge themselves and expand their vocabulary but also executive functioning abilities like problems solving and decision making. Finally, it helps with dexterity and fine motor coordination. I just wish the board was better quality. It doesn't completely adjust to flat surfaces like our table as the folding makes it slightly uneven. But other than that, it's a great boardgame every hole should have

I like scrabble, but we don't play games now that the kids have moved out.  I ordered this for a friend in a care home .  It is great for vocabulary and my friend says the people who saw the box were so excited they started playing right away.  Some may have memory loss but that didn't stop them

I can't say enough about this game! My grandchildren love playing it with us. I have an older version but this made a perfect birthday gift for my eleven year old. It helps with vocabulary and spelling skills too. Not everyone gets letters that work so you learn to keep a good attitude as you go. Love, love, love this board game!

Super Fun for Children!

It’s amazing that this came remains one of the most fun table games. It’s been around so long but some of the best things for those that have been around forever.
I was tempted to order a more special edition, but it was out of stock. I may still do so, because it would be nice to have a more permanent game on hand.

I had the 1947? Version growing up.  This pales in comparison but still fun. I played today with the birthday girl and it was a close game! She won by 1 point. 241 - 240! We used all but one letter. It's a fun game and a  good way to expand the  vocabulary.  My mom had me playing when I was in third grade! Nowadays the kids need to learn how to spell cause everything's on the computer. Get the whole family together and learn together!

Scrabble is a great learning game. The spelling and new word logic that has come from playing this game has been seen in the classroom through compound words and using words in the proper context at school. The box is like a puzzle box, cardboard and thin. We keep ours in a large baggie because we broke the box but all the pieces are fine.

Great for teaching and learning!

the set is made out of cheap plastic, it was missing bag to store the letter keys. The box is very thin. the board is printed on thin cardboard. The letter keys are smaller than squares on the board. There were very simple game instructions attached. Overall this set of scrabble is mediocre at best.

I was very disappointed the board is a piece of cardboard like as thin as a cereal box. it said it came with a wooden pieces and a pouch for the letter pieces. it did not come with a pouch and all the pieces are plastic. it even says right on the box comes with wooden pieces and they were plastic the stands for the letter pieces are also plastic

Description on web/line shows 'Wooden Letters/Wooden Tile-Racks n game board is beyond card board but so flimsy its unusable! Such poor quality n its sold on Walmart, 'SHAMEFUL'! Price was bout $22 regular, now its $15 , I paid $12, still...Would Not Recommend, NOT AS STATED!

I only got this because it was on sale but under no circumstance is this worth 21.99. I am appalled by the quality. The box is made from the cheapest carboard possible and the board is the equivalent of contruction paper. the tiles are see through and it did not come with a bag to pull tiles from or store tiles. This is worse than dollar tree quality board games. If you want to get scrabble get literally any other one than this. This is simply over priced trash.
