First, thanks Walmart for having this on sale. Saved me 2/3 of the retail price, helping me make my kids smarter on a budget. I love this edition of Scrabble because of the real wood used in some of the accessories. I have had the edition with plastic tiles and racks, and this feels much better.

This is an all time favorite game. We played it when I was a kid and this time we wanted to see if it would help our 8 yr old with spelling . We have tried this method of spelling with the scrabble game and it does help. My sister suggested that we try it and it does seem to help.

Scrabble for Spelling

I like scrabble, but we don't play games now that the kids have moved out.  I ordered this for a friend in a care home .  It is great for vocabulary and my friend says the people who saw the box were so excited they started playing right away.  Some may have memory loss but that didn't stop them

I can't say enough about this game! My grandchildren love playing it with us. I have an older version but this made a perfect birthday gift for my eleven year old. It helps with vocabulary and spelling skills too. Not everyone gets letters that work so you learn to keep a good attitude as you go. Love, love, love this board game!

Super Fun for Children!

I really like this board game. It has so many functions. Primarily brings the family together. Second, it helps children and adults to challenge themselves and expand their vocabulary but also executive functioning abilities like problems solving and decision making. Finally, it helps with dexterity and fine motor coordination. I just wish the board was better quality. It doesn't completely adjust to flat surfaces like our table as the folding makes it slightly uneven. But other than that, it's a great boardgame every hole should have

It brings the family together

It's a fun activity. My family and I enjoy playing this game. The box for it is sturdy and strong. The quality of the board game and other accessories are just as sturdy. It's great for a family of 4, especially when kids are participating. Easy to find words and interactive for all.

Game wise, it's the same great Scrabble you've always known. The downsides is the poor quality board. It's your standard cheap cardboard playing board, which is quiet flimsy if not playing on a table. It could use some nice extras too like more scoring cards and nice pouch for pieces.

The Budget, Value Version of Scrabble

This is no longer the original Scrabble board.  It is a smaller board, as though designed for children %26 not for adults as well.  As there are fewer squares on the board than the original Scrabble game, you are much more limited as to words you can play.

Kids Version

I love playing scrabble! I chose this particular game because i thought it was the same as the one I had before that was destroyed in a flood, but unfortunately this one was smaller and flimsy, the letters wouldn't stay in place on the board and constantly fell off the rack, the price should have been cheaper for the cheaply made board, even the letters were small and thin

I was very disappointed the board is a piece of cardboard like as thin as a cereal box. it said it came with a wooden pieces and a pouch for the letter pieces. it did not come with a pouch and all the pieces are plastic. it even says right on the box comes with wooden pieces and they were plastic the stands for the letter pieces are also plastic
