Great product

I LOVE the Hatch Rest+! It is easy to use and has lots of helpful features. The ability to adjust the controls and options from my phone is great! The different sounds and LED night light colors and presets offer great variety and customization. The LED clock is great for late night baby feedings. The ability to instantly turn the unit on/off with the touch ring on top is especially handy when I am holding baby or don't have my phone nearby. The baby sound monitor feature works great when I want to hear when baby wakes up from her nap, but I am upstairs, so I otherwise wouldn't hear her. Once I figured out which sounds baby loves best, they help to calm her down faster when she is fussy or tired, sometimes even instantaneously! The trick is in the volume- louder than you would expect- but it works like magic! The sounds also help mask ambient noises that otherwise might startle or wake baby up.

The program and timer features are nice, but I would love to see a sound volume fade feature integrated into them. The instant off has woken baby up, so I find that gradually fading the sound down works better. This is easy to do on my phone, but if I don't have my phone handy I need to use the volume buttons at the back of the unit, which are hard to see, even when the night light is on. It would be helpful to have the volume buttons on top, or back-lit at the front for quicker and easier access at night. Regardless, I would buy this product again in a heartbeat, and highly recommend it, especially for new parents!

Hatch

I was looking for something with a clock, nightlight and a few different sounds for my baby girl. A few people raved about how they love there's for the babies and toddlers. My daughter is 3 months and so far her favorite is the white noise and rain sounds! It seems so far to be helping her and I'm glad I can use it once she is older as well and not have to purchase another machine! :smile::heart:️ Happy first time mom!!

Rest+

We I Purchased two of these, one for our girls room (ages 2.5 & 7) and one for our boys room (5&5yo) in an effort to sleep train them in the mornings! I love the different setting and schedules. The monitor can be spotty depending on the quality of your WiFi but I'm not sure that's a problem on Hatch's part. My kiddos wake between 4 and 5am so having the option to have several schedules on there is great! For us, Red means stay in bed, yellow light is play in your room and green is time for breakfast! Helps to have a visual for littles. We put it up high out of reach and give incentives for following the morning routine.

Love it!

My daughter is a newborn and we've been using Rest+ religiously since it arrived. It's quickly become our most-used baby item. It's been so awesome to tap the light on in the middle of the night for feedings, and I can easily grab it and use it in cordless mode when falls asleep downstairs. I also love the audio monitor feature. I tried to avoid buying too many baby gadgets and the Rest+ has so many features rolled into one. Parents, you need this!

I'm in love!

I've used the original Rest with my daughter to great success, and the Rest+ improves on an already-fantastic product! Not only can we use it to set programs for bedtime and morning time, as we did on Rest, but we can now listen in on her without having to carry a monitor from room to room, and we can get rid of the clunky clock we've had kicking around on her shelf. Our kitchen is a bit far from her room, so we occasionally would have to walk closer to her room to connect on Rest, so being able to control over Wi-Fi is a great fit for us. Rest+ has been an improvement in so many ways, can't wait to see what comes next from Hatch!

All-in-one bedtime savior

This machine is amazing when it comes to sounds. I wish it had a heartbeat sound, but we love the river sound. The colors get very distorted and are often not the right color at all when you turn the brightness down to use it as a Nightlight, but you can get the brightness very low if your child likes that! The photo I've included is supposed to be a light purple, but when dimmed it looks very red. It doesn't bother us, but if it would bother you I wouldn't get it because it does this with most colors. We also love the monitor option, but it still needs the kinks worked out in the Apple app.

Great machine

Hatch baby has literally helped my little one w staying asleep all I do is put white noise sound and red orange dim light starting at 10 and he stays asleep through the night!!! The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the audio monitor is super late at hearing things and one time I had talked through it and went back to the room and the whole hatch baby was off but other than that hatch baby is the best!

I like that you can control it by your phone and the range of colors you can choose from, but there are some features I would change. I would be happier if you could use the WiFi to connect your devices and play your own music. Also, the one I received was defective and won't hold a charge, it only charges halfway and since it was a gift it isn't that convenient to return.
