Got this on sale. My daughter loves it so much. I bought another one as a birthday gift to her friend, so they can play together.

Fun to have

My son got this as a gift and loved it until right after it hatched. This is a really cool toy it hatches out of the egg then has several different modes. It starts off as a baby and makes several sounds the eyes light up and it dances and sings. When it moves up to a different stage it does different sounds and movements then before. It also comes with accessories. It wasnt a bad price for it and it was a good quality toy

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was given the Hatchimals Mystery for free to give my honest review and opinion. Upon receiving the box my daughter was overjoyed with excitement to open the box and to see which Hatchimal  that she got. After taking the white colored egg out of its box the egg came to life with the baby inside moving around and making noises. The colors would change depending on the Hatchimals mood. These Hatchimals are so fascinating to watch come to life and hatch just like a real egg would do. It took a little while for the Hatchimal to crack it's shell but that is part of the fun. Once it did my daughter could not contain her excitement anymore, she screamed, "Its a girl" Even my husband was fascinated with how this toy hatched on its own and how you could feel it move around inside of the egg. I would recommend this toy for any child that not only loves Hatchimals but also loves the element of Surprise, caring for your Hatchimal and overall fun.

We immediately read the directions and began talking to and rubbing our egg. Within about ten minutes we had hatching action! It was slow and steady, and he got a little impatient waiting. Once the biggest piece of shell cracked we were able to see the Hatchimal! A little pink and purple unicorn! Adorable! We pulled her out, opened her accessories, and read the chart for eye color. My son has enjoyed playing with this daily since we received it.

My kids loved that you can feed it,brush it, and that it had a little toy to go with it. They was hoping for a boy but we got a girl lol. I like the idea of boys and girls. #DiscoverHatchimals

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I applied for this opportunity because my 10 year old daughter is a huge fan of the CollEGGtibles.  Last Christmas it was such a hot item for the year we decided to wait and see how the response was to the original full size Hatchimal. Of course she wanted one, badly, but my husband and I did not see any further value or entertainment in the product after the egg actually hatched. So when I saw this chance at something new and much more interactive I had to apply (plus it helped that it arrived the week of her birthday). The hatching process took approximately 32 (minutes give or take). Even my 6 year old son was very excited to be involved, which was a huge surprise because he has been diagnosed high spectrum ADHD, but from the time I pulled the piece out of the bottom and the egg came to life within his shell my son was hooked!
I would purchase this product again, but the next one would be for my son. My only concern was after a few days my daughter did start to run out of ideas, but she's still trying different things.

It is time consuming as she handed it to me to continue to hatch after about 20 min. She loves playing with it the accessories are adorable.

I ordered this for a Christmas present for my granddaughter.  Apparently it was a return and it was missing parts and already hatched.  Walmart needs to check its returns more carefully.  Its Christmas morning and I have a crying grandchild

Christmas disaster

My daughter and I were waiting for the hatch, when finally the animal came out, my daughter complained that the light was bothering her eyes. Then I noticed the eyes lights were very bright and strong like a lasser, I really do not recommend this toy, which I think may damage our kids' vision.
