This product lived up to the hype of being a furby that hatches out of a plastic shell. The only thing my kids wanted for Christmas - so of course they played with it for a few hours and haven't picked it up since. Now they're fodder for my toddler and 4 year old. So far they have not attempted to take over the neighborhood small soldier style.

Our Hatchimals hatched perfectly and the kids have been playing with them for almost a week now.  It's so fun watching them go through the different stages.  We have 3 of them and have had no issues.

Kids love it!

Ordered after Christmas for my kid's birthday. Was worried after hearing about all the mishaps. Mine worked great. It was super cute watching the Penguin peck its way out. My kids loved it. Highly recommend.

Cute Concept

We ordered the Draggle.  Our Hatchimal worked perfectly and was out of the egg in about 10 minutes.  They are similar to the "zoomer" pets in that they move and make noise, you can play games with them etc.  Walmart's price was $30 less than the other big toy competitor.  These things are pricey but my daughter has been wanting one for about 4 months now and saved up money.

It did exactly as we expected! It hatched perfect and it worked as we expected! No dud here and not complaints! Can't wait to get a Burtle!

Awesome!

I wanted Hatchimals for Christmas for my granddaughters.  Obviously that didn't work out!  Nobody had them!  In January,  Walmart got back to me, and said they were available, and I could order 2!  I ordered 2 and got them a week later.  I was very impressed with Walmarts follow-up on this.  They performed much better than Target, Toys R Us, and Kohl!

The Hatchimals?  I'm waiting til Easter to give them out so I can't comment on this product yet!  There were supposedly some issues with the product, but I will not comment til they are given out.

Again, I was very impressed with Walmart's online shopping experience, and the follow-up!   Will certainly consider Walmart for online purchasing again.

Impressed with Walmart Follow-up on Hatchimals!

It hatched in about 10 minutes. ... my kids all watched and interacted with it waiting for it to complete hatching.  It was well worth tge $60 I spent on it! But people please do not spend more then $75 on one, if you do I truly feel you will be disappointed.  It is a toy worth $50-$75 and you will be happy spending that but no more! Overall we were very satisfied!

My 6 year old daughter loves it!

I was just really lucky to get one of these on Walmart.com (sold by Walmart) and have it for Christmas.  It's cute and fun and all, but if I was one of these people paying over  $100, I would have felt cheated.  The coolest part is when he hatches from the egg, and the rest of the antics were entertaining for a few days, but did not seem to generate lasting interest in my 5 & 7 year old. I would say it's worth regular price, but I'm a little baffled by what all the excitement was about.  Oh well...

Cute, but worth the hype?

It lasts probably about and hour and a half for my 4 year old. After they hatch which can take 30-60 mins, you're pretty much down. It was so much hype of these toys for now reason. If you pay more than the listed price teach is own!
