Climbing sticks

I definitely like these 20in hawks! I decided to use one of them to one stick up the tree for saddle hunting! Haven't had any issues yet! If you don't know already,  let me tell you, before you stack the sticks together you need to ream out the female piece of the suction cup or they will most likely brake or be hard to pull apart.  Ream a little  then check and repeat to make sure you get a good fit, and easy pull apart.

Great sticks, one caution on suction cups.

The sticks themselves are fine but the straps they come with are terrible. Some of the pictures show just a traditional strap. That's not the case. They have daisy chain straps. They're hard to use already but in the freezing cold or with gloves, forget it. They're good if you're willing to spend money to upgrade to the amsteel rope but at that point Just go with the hawk helium 2.0s instead.

The sticks themselves are fine, but the button connections like many others have posted about are terrible. All the male ends that go into the suction cups showed signs of stress with that fatigue look. To not take chances on breaking them, I used a dremel with the sanding disc to ream out the suction cups. Tested and work great with much easier release. First time out, popping the sticks apart, one male end broke. Sticks work great, but the suction cups need a new design.

Disappointed

Item will kick out on you while your 20 feet high.
