Not only are the feeders squirrel proof...but the dove and pigeons can't get to the bird seed!! A dream come true!!

I love this feeder. Keeps the bigger birds out (such as black birds and blue jays). I don't have a problem with seed spilling out all to much when I refill it as the other review said. The seed has never molded either. The birds eat the seed way to fast for any to mold I guess. I live in the rainy state of Washington too. The only thing I would change about this feeder is the size (which is why I gave it only 4stars). Seems I have to refill it at least once a week.

I bought this feeder for my front yard because of its looks. Well built nice looking feeder. The only problem is there isn't a pan on the bottom to keep the seed from falling to the ground. I hot glued a plastic coffee can lid to the bottom and it works just great.

Very nice bird feeder for the price.

Really like the feeder because it keeps the blue jays out, but does keep the red squirrels out. I put a coffee can lid on the bottom to hold most of the seed from falling on the ground. Would probably keep large gray squirrels out, though.

Nice feeder but not squirrel proof. Minutes after I hung it, I had a squirrel lying cureled up, INSIDE the wire.

Good feeder-even for squirrels

We ended up putting millet spray in the center tube. Seed will flow right out of the feeder as there is no bottom tray as in most bird feeders. We have had a week and no birds have eaten from the feeder.

Not Really for Regular Wild Bird Seed

I initially liked the product... however, the seed spilled out as I attempted to fill it. There is no tray on the bottom and the mesh is not encased in acrylic or plastic ... the seed goes everywhere. No acrylic or plastic means the seed will get wet and moldy quickly if it rains.
Day 1 ... a squirrel was inside the cage eating the seed! Wish I had a photo to share but he was to quick to escape. Will be returning this item and now on the search for another squirrel proof feeder. Save you money ... don't buy this one :(

The seed container openings cause the seeds to fall out when filled. Also, the openings for birds are too small for all but the smallest birds.
