Works much better than sunbeam. The only draw back is I can't seem to detach the chord, but that's not a problem since I just carefully wash it by hand and hang it to dry. I've unfortunately gone through too many Sunbeam brand ones so here's hoping this will last me years!

Good Size (Large) tends to stay put and cover a large surface. Heat is consistent and with several heat selections you can get it as hot as you wish.
I would personally wish it would run longer before the Auto off function kicked in but I really like heat on my overtaxed muscles and ... its easy enough to turn it back on.

EXCELLENT!...has 4 settings, and I've never had to even use the two higher ones! Nice usable size and comfortably pliable! (...and happy to say, it apparently has no effect on my defibrillator!)

Well worth it!

This product really surprised me, It was one of the cheaper ones at the moment of purchasing, so didnt expect much of it, but let me tell you I am happy I bought it. The material is great quality, It has different levels to chose from, and the cord is conveniently long, so Im not struggling to keep within reach.

Purchased this item for my spouse, who really relies on heating pads during the sleep hours,
she says that this pad is ideal because of the two-hour shut-off feature.  Softness is OK, but
her only complaint is that the heating pad could be larger!  If a larger pad was available from
this manufacturer, I would have bought that one!   Definitely recommend this item ...

Ideal for people with nagging aches and pains ...

It's a fine heating pad - not as advanced or detail oriented as some others we have, but that's ok.  What bothers me the most is the fact that one side is soft and fuzzy, and the other is not.....  and the hard part that connects to the cord is on the soft side!!  I've had other pads which have that hard plastic (sizeable) piece on the non-fuzzy side, or ones that both sides were soft, but this is just a bit silly.  The two very large tags that came attached to the item are, likewise, attached and flapping on the soft side.  I know it seems insignificant and mundane, but especially when you are trying to curl up in bed because you are cold or in pain, and especially when you are trying to use it for a child, it becomes a big deal.

Fine heating pad - ill placement of hard pieces

This heating pad is very thin. It has four levels for heating. The first level gets hot to about 120 degrees and they go up from there; which in my opinion, is very hot. It only gives you one option for the length of time it will stay on: two hours.

Bought this because we already have this same brand and love it.  It doesn't have the yucky plastic cover other heating pads use.  However,  the item received this time is not good.  Could barely feel any heat on Level 1.  Went through all 4 levels.  The highest level was just a medium warm.  It didn't even come close to being hot enough to soothe muscle pain.  Too bad because I thought we found a good product,  but we'll be returning this one.

Because of the placement of the electric connection, the usable surface is less than hoped for. The unit only provides mild heat and the pad itself if quite thin. It could perhaps be enhanced if one wrapped a towel around the outside of the heating pad to hold in the mild heat against your body. Best to look for a higher quality heating pad.

I got this heating pad in November. I picked this one for its size and automatic shut off as I need to use it over night multiple times a week for chronic pain. I always use the lowest setting (1 of 4) as it matched the amount of heat the medium setting on my previous heating pad did. Well, the night before last, in the middle of the night, the heating pad had some kind of malfunction and I woke up to it burning me, melting my microbead pillow, %26 the switch was flashing and smoking!! The smell was vile. I immediately unplugged it and threw it out my bedroom window. Then, eventually once safe, the trash bin. I thankfully woke up fast enough to not get burnt bad enough to blister, but my pillow it melted is ruined and now I have no heating pad for pain. Obviously, I will contact the company after this review as well. But I wanted people to know sooner rather then later that this product IS DEFINITELY NOT SAFE!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE PURCHASE THIS ITEM!! Because it was fine until suddenly it wasn't, and that's almost more dangerous then being faulty from the beginning.
