My grandson absolutely loved this 2.5 yrs, Very well made, the only problem we had was the wheel nut covers wouldn't stay on…..I'm not thinking it's a big deal! His father drives excavators for a living and he really liked the true controls. He has barely stayed off it since Christmas….the other thing I like about this one is no pedals so it can be somewhat stationary if needed.(They live on a big hill coming onto a hwy)

My husband assembled this quite quickly. It wasn't as sturdy as the ones we grew up with in the 80s/90s, but sees like it should last a bit. The kids have been playing with it non stop for 4 days, so the fun factor is there. The wheels are nice, though the kids have found it frustrating at times as they constantly roll away from the sandbox (our yard isn't exactly level). We've only had a few incidents of the scooper part coming in contact with another child's head, but no blood so I'll call that a win. Overall, for the sale price I feel we got a total bargain.

Lots of fun 4 days in

My coworker recommend me to get one for my 3yo toddler. He loves it, still learn how to control the handle of the scoop, the quality is good and sturdy, my husband even sit on to show and tell my son how to use it. This is perfect toy for kids who love to play out door during fall. I got the big wheels so its kinda hard to move then the smaller wheels, it kept touch the feet.

My grandson almost 3 loves this, he is a little short legged, but he figured out how to push it around with his feet on the wheels, best present ever, he loves picking stuff up into his bucket, once summer gets here we will build him a sandbox to scoop sand with it, the excavator is built well for the price.

Grandson absolutely loves playing in his sandbox  using his new Digging Scooper Excavator digging in the sand.  Great-toy!!! Lots of many fun hours of digging!

I put this together in about 15 minutes. No assembly instructions, just step by step photos to look at. But it was easy-peasy! My grandson LOVED it!!!

Fun Dirt Digger

Since the assembly was straight forward and had only a few small parts (a handful of screws and a sticker) and everything was, I guess you'd probably call it pre-assembled, it was a great way to help teach following instructions, counting the parts before assembly, hand eye coordination with the screws and nuts and overall confidence building as a "project" with my grandson. He's 4 years old and he was so proud of helping.!

This play backhoe is TOO limited.  This toy was not inexpensive!  It's durable but leaves so many more functions out.  The hollow plastic tires cheapen this toy.  They have no traction
