Not only do these bags really hold a lot of heavy trash the smell amazing. They fit my garbage container like a glove! I was so impressed as it is my first timing the Hefty brand! Even when I took the bag out of my bin it held the items well. A sturdy well built bag. I'll definitely buy again.

The Hefty garbage bags are the perfect size for my kitchen bins. They seem really sturdy and have a pull cord to close it. They are a bit scented, which is nice to have when you have smelly garbage. My husband doesn't like the smell, but I don't find it overwhelming.

I recently bought these 50L bags for my new garbage bin, and they've exceeded my expectations. They are very strong yet lightweight, and the flexibility is impressive. When I first opened a bag, I thought it wouldn't fit my 50L bin, but it fit perfectly. The pleasant scent also helps reduce odors, which is a great bonus.

I haven't had a rip to this date. Bonus is the scent, not too strong and makes changing the bags a positive experience.

I also like the pull string which makes it so much easier to seal the bag up and they are strong enough to carry all the weight without snapping. Great value for the price!

I've been using those bags  for years and they consistently deliver reliable performance for everyday household waste.
What I love most is their exceptional durability—the thick material resists punctures, tears, and leaks even when loaded with sharp items like chicken bones, glass shards, or heavy wet trash. I've filled them to the brim without a single rip, and they've held up perfectly during big cleanups or yard work.
The break-resistant drawstring closure is a game-changer; it ties securely and makes carrying heavy bags to the curb effortless without breaking. Many scented varieties (like Clean Burst or Fabuloso) effectively neutralize odors, keeping the kitchen fresh longer.
Overall, my experience has been hassle-free—no messy spills or unexpected failures—which gives me peace of mind.

I've never had an issue with this brand before. Stands up to more than basic wear and tear, especially if you have children who relentlessly smush as much into the bag so they don't “have to” take the trash out… Easy drawstring for closure - without the edges tearing (I hate that!). And not to mention it has a pleasant smell that isn't overwhelming.

PART OF SAMPLING PROGRAM. These bags are great! They're very durable, trap odours wonderfully, and fit perfectly in my kitchen garbage/recycling bin. 
I have two cats and their wet food cans can start to smell after a couple days in the recycling bin despite being rinsed out.  These bags do a great job at preventing the smell from getting out of the recycling bin. The texture of the bags makes them very resistant to tearing (there are metal can lids that would slice through other bags, but these ones have held up perfectly. 
The drawstrings also make the bags a breeze to remove and dispose of. These bags are a 10/10, would definitely recommend.

PART OF SAMPLING PROGRAM I tried these garbage bags for a couple of weeks. I use them mainly in my kitchen. The bags fit in the garbage bin very nicely and have a nice light scent. They are strong and sturdy and have a tie at the top to ensure they are fully closed. No issues with ripping or tearing.
