[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an INCREDIBLE shampoo! My scalp burns so easily in the sun because I am fair skinned. This shampoo has gotten rid of the flaky and dry skin I had on my scalp so it can heal quickly without the itching! It is super hydrating and smells so good! I use this on my toddlers hair as well, because it works fantastic at getting sunscreen out of their hair.

Hydrating for your scalp!

I have color treated fine oily-prone hair.
I was using L'Oréal elvive shampoo and conditioner, only using herbal essence clarifying shampoo occasionally for build up.
I had a skin reaction to the L'Oréal and started using the herbal essence clarifying shampoo everyday. Hair feels cleaner, a little more volume and I don't need conditioner. No skin issues. It's not specifically for color treated hair, and that's ok. If I need to Color my hair more often, that's ok too. It's an unconventional shampoo switch, but it works for me.

Works great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the tea tree shampoo my hair felt super clean and I appreciated the fresh tea tree scent. My hair definitely felt shiny and cleansed after use! My hair tends to get weighed down with heavy product so I appreciated the light formula of the shampoo! It definitely helped remove product build up!

Clarifying Shampoo leaves my hair feeling super cl

I haven't used this shampoo yet, but I was worried about the scent when I ordered it since I can't stand the smell of tea tree oil. Surprisingly, it actually smells nice—just like I'd expect from Herbal Essences. To me, it's reminiscent of the original Herbal Essences from the 1970s. I'm sure it's a good quality shampoo.

Very Nice Smell

this saved me from going on medicated shampoo!! tea tree oil, everyone says, is good for scalp issues. my favorite brand stopped making it. so i tried many others. a lot are too oily. but this one is perfect! my scalp is super sensitive to stuff and this keeps it calm. it never itches and i can go a whole week without washing it. ive never been able to do that with any product! this is a 10000/10 for me i will use this till i croak lol!

my favorite shampoo by far!!!!

I have been using this product for a week now and have noticed my hair is much softer. I noticed that my hair is much easier to style after drying and doesn't frizz as much as it used to. I'll definitely keep using this.

The Frizz is Out!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is great! It lathers nicely, and leaves my hair feeling fresh! I loved the scent, and it helped with my dandruff because of the tea tree!

Great

herbalessences.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product removes all buildup from hair. It's basically a stripping shampoo. It will remove any residue from scalp. Do not use this shampoo daily as it can dry out your hair I recommend it two times a week. It's reasonable for the price.

shampoo that removes product buildup

My hair felt oily and this shampoo made a difference I rarely use conditioner. It leaves it nice and clean highly recommended.

Fabulous clean

I've used this twice now, but I had to stop using it. My hair fell off in clumps! I have very fine, 2A hair that is naturally blond. I guess the shampoo works, my scalp felt super clean. And my eleven year old had no visible hair loss after using it. But, I can obviously not recommend this for sensitive scalps and hair types! This happened to me once before (years ago) with a salon brand, so I do have very sensitive scalp / hair. I use an organic, pricy ‘regular' shampoo and conditioner normally.

Not for Sensitive Scalps or Hair Types

Everyone's sense of smell is unique; however this was NOT the scent of Tea Tree or Rosemary if you are acquainted with the use of their essential oils. It smelled so bad to me that I had to stop using it after 3 uses. Pretty big waste of $10. It reminded me a lot of 1990's men's cologne. If you like that, then this scent is for you. If you are expecting Tea Tree and Rosemary, or sensitive to the scent of fragrance oils, then do not purchase and save yourself the loss of money I experienced :(
