The first thing I noticed was the scent. It smells just like I remember, with a clean, light floral scent that stays in my hair without being overpowering. I’ve been using it at least twice a week, and I use it together with the matching conditioner. My hair feels really clean but not stripped, which I appreciate. It lathers nicely and rinses out easily. It feels lightweight and doesn’t weigh my hair down, and I like that it still gives my hair a bit of natural volume. Good value for the price considering how well it works.

But in the after photos you can see my color looks much brighter and shinier and much more vibrant. The packaging is cute, I love all things pink and it stands out on a shelf. I am not normally the world’s biggest fan of rose scents, but this one smells delicious and I still smell it days later. The lather was amazing, one of the best I’ve tried for lather alone. Detangling was great too, no issues there. Highly recommend!

It smells amazing, it gets the hair clean, and it feels smoothing to my very curly hair. I feel like I could detangle with it it’s so smoothing. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I saw this product on TikTok, and when I received it, I was so excited because of all the great things people are saying about it online I have to say that it was very refreshing and super lightweight on my sculpt. It was not dry or left any residue that will cause dandruff to accumulate. It was very easy to manage, which provided an ease when the tingling with the conditioner happened. It was very easy to remove and packaging is very slim which can also be a good thing if you’re traveling carrying it somewhere else out of your shower.

Although this is not stated, I felt it could be a great first step if you want to use it as a clarifying shampoo.

It’s an Ehhh for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First major turn off are the dyes in the shampoo! This shampoo weighed down my hair and made it fell thinner. I even applied a root volume styling product and still my hair looks flat.  I jumped at the chance bc anything rose is hydrating. Well not this shampoo, my hair felt dry. I did color my hair prior, but I've never had an issue with a shampoo drying out my hair. Second thing I noticed, the conditioner states "USE GENEROUSLY". Well you are going to have to, I applied conditioner twice. And a heavier amount the second time! The scent in the conditioner is stronger than the shampoo. Sorry but this product was not for me. I dont remember Herbal Essence every doing this to my hair before.
