Sturdy, well made design with quality materials. I love the gold metal zippers. The zippers are stiff at first, but I think they will last a long time. The fabric is thick too, and lined with soft material. Very happy with the size and look, just what I was looking for. I can fit my wallet and lunch every day for work.

Love this brand, with quality and style... I have slowing accuired travel duffel bags, backpacks, totes and fanny packs lol I love them all as well as purchased for gifts that my family use while they go kayaking.
Way better than all these other "competition" bags that fall apart or become worn after a few outings.

Amazing quality and options to choose from

I got this bag in black to use day to day as a backpack purse and it's awesome!! First of all, it's so cute and the extra top handles are super convenient to grab the bag when I'm heading out the door. The size is perfect too - it fits my phone, wallet, keys, sunglasses, hat, charging block, and still wasn't totally packed (picture for reference)

I love this little backpack! It's the perfect size to use as a purse. It fits all my essentials and feels comfortable to wear. The quality of the backpack is great and I like the carry handles on top. The one thing I wish it had was a water bottle holder. The Mini is probably too small for external water bottle pockets, but it would be nice if there was an elastic strap on the inside just to hold a bottle upright in the main pocket. I also have a Nova Small backpack, which does have external water bottle pockets, and I love it too but it's a bit large to use as a purse.

Cute and functional

This is a fantastic little backpack!! Smaller than my purse it's perfect when I don't want/need to haul as much stuff around. Construction and materials are tough and very strong, I doubt the zippers will ever break!! Finishing touches are great and I couldn't be happier!

Fantastic Little Backpack!!

Before purchasing this, I read the reviews and heard many people complain about the fabric being too stiff for their liking - I, however, actually very much like the stiff fabric. It helps keep the backpacks form which ensures durability and style. The zipper is strong and the style is cute. I specifically bought this to go to an amusement park and it worked perfectly. The size was all I needed to carry my belongings without overpacking or carrying a half empty big backpack. I love it!

Durable and Stylish

I love the size and function of this backpack. The material is quite stiff and the zipper is really heavy duty which makes it a bit wonky to unzip. The zipper teeth are a bit uncomfortable on my hand when I reach inside. The shape of the backpack isn't nice and round like in the pictures, the top corners kind of fold inward making it sort of a triangle shape. I like this backpack overall but maybe I wish it was a bit softer for regular use.

Stiff, sharp zipper. But cute.

I wore a tote bag for a long day at the zoo , by the end my shoulder was hurting, I had to keep switching sides or hold it by hand for a while to give my shoulder break . I wanted a small backpack . This is a great size fits more than you think . I can fit what I need and a 32oz water bottle . I can be hands free and easier to carry compared to a tote bag . O do have to agree with other reviewers, you need to be careful because the zipper can scratch your hand

Just the size I needed

This bag is super cute and it fits what I need in it. Purple is my favorite color, especially lavender so it was a no-brainer, HOWEVER I am salty that after my bag came and I customized it I see that there's a leopard print one which is also my favorite

Cute but salty

I love the color and shape of the backpack it is great for a small purse in the summer when you want to go hands free and not worry about wearing a purse. It can fit a lot in it for a bag so small and looking forward to using it. 
I never gave it full stars because the zipper is not working properly and I just got it. It'll do up but not sure how long it will last and for the price I'm disappointed. I usually have no issues with Hershel products at all.

Zipper not great in this backpack

I so wanted to love this new Mini back pack as I LOVED and am still loving a previous "edition". I have enjoyed it for many years and it is now showing its age..
The reasons for my return of this back pack are the following:
1) The new one lacks the inside back pocket, reachable through a side zipper. 
2) The opening of the main compartment is quite a bit smaller, meaning that the zipper does not reach down the sides as much, which is a big negative, as the smaller opening makes it more cumbersome to use. 
3) The small front zippered compartment is significantly smaller, which makes it difficult to reach into.
4) . And the other important reason for the return of the back pack is that the teeth of the zipper (metal?) are so sharp that it scratched my hands every time I used the zipper.Theprevious one is a nylon zipper and neveer gave me trouble.
I am so sad that all these aspects of the new Mini Back Pack made me return this item. PLEASE design a new Mini Back Pack keeping my ideas in mind, and I will be your first customer purchasing a new Mini Back Pack. The overall size is just perfect for a City Back Pack. You have no idea how many compliments I have received for my my old and now very worn Mini. I will l be sad when I finally need to retire it. 
May I look forward fo a newly designed and improved Mini? I ope so.
