A subwoofer enclosure under the back bench of a pickup truck is a good example of how space - and height - are constrained. Mille PRO subwoofers feature a depth/performance ratio that has never been achieved before, thanks to a 20 percent larger cone excursion capability than a typical design. This outstanding goal was reached because to an inventive suspension group design that included a separate spider and coil support system. This solution allowed the magnetic group to be moved inwards, reducing the depth while increasing cone linear excursion.
