Nice, small comfortable, compact life jacket, very pleased.

I like the belt itself, however the only issue is that I ordered it for SUP and upon receiving it realized that it is not Transport Canada approved. So I had to order a different belt from another manufacturer.

Herwey Inflatable Life Jacket Waist Belt Flotation

This is not a Transport Canada certified lifebelt. The CO2 cartridge connection is non-standard making it difficult to find proper cartridges. Also no instructions included to provide any guidance of CO2 cartridge type. Do not recommend this product for use.

There is no inflation cartridge included with this life vest. There was also no warning that it was not included. This could be VERY dangerous if someone used this life jacket, expecting it to inflate, and it didn't. I have bought various cartridge-inflated life vests before and every one had a cartridge included. I went to the store where I picked it up and asked them to give me a credit for a cartridge, or to give me a cartridge. The answer I got was “if it didn't say on the website that it was included then I shouldn't expect it to be included”. This is similar to buying a car online and not getting any tires or battery because it didn't say it was included. Obviously this is ludicrous. I will be returning this life vest and buying one locally from someone who respects my safety enough to include the necessary inflation needed for a life saving device such as a life jacket.

NO AIR CARTRIDGE INCLUDED = VERY UNSAFE!!!

The flotation device came without any instructions or packaging and the description on the website failed to mention that it requires you to purchase a CO2 cylinder separately, which I only know because I emailed the seller after receiving the item.  As it is packaged without any labelling whatsoever, it poses a huge drowning risk for anyone who assumes the device offers any protection as is.

NO LABEL, NO INSTRUCTIONS, UNSAFE AS SOLD

This product does not come with the co2 canister required for inflation, and the connector is a non standard size. I have not been able to find a canister so far.

Incomplete product

This product is missing the CO2 cartridge used to inflate the tube.  Therefore this product is completely useless.  Moreover, this product is not fit for use in Canada as it is not CSA approved.  It is actually illegal to use.
