It's everything I expected, typical particle board, wish it was finished on both sides. But I knew that before I ordered from someone else's review. It was easy to put together and delivered to my door within a couple days for free! Is working out for what I needed. I'm using it as stairs for a bunk. I just reinforced the wood in corners and turned it on its longer side. Anchored to side of bed. Working perfectly and so much cheaper than other options I was looking into. My son uses the spaces to store books and shoes.

It's a nice piece however, because it is called "display" shelving and "room divider" I felt that indicated it would be finished on both sides... and it's not.
