These are COUNTER HEIGHT chairs, not bar height.  Seat height is 24 inches.
Ours arrived with several broken pieces/split up the wood.  The company handled our complaint promptly and to our satisfaction.  The bolts are all countersunk and the assembled product looks like it would be strong enough.    Heavy too, won't get blown around in a strong wind.    Only 3 stars due to broken pieces, probably due to inadequate packaging, and bad description; otherwise if whole I think it would rate 4 1/2 stars.

Poor packaging allowed slats to be broken

Still waiting for replacement parts for damaged chair. Two pieces, the arm and seat have completely cracked wood parts. One of the 2 chairs is fine. This might be an indicator of quality.
