My Hillsdale sleigh bed headboard and footboard attached perfectly. It's sturdy. You do need your own hardware to attach headboard and footboard ( usually comes with the headboard/footboard, mine did).

This bed frame was very easy to put together and it serves it's purpose. It is a metal frame with plastic legs. It is a little lower to the ground than I like because my son likes to keep his shoe boxes under the bed. I can just buy bed risers for his bed if and when the time comes.

Serves it's purpose

When I received the order, the box was all ripped. The actual frame was bent so it was very hard to get the screws in. Not too impressed there. I didnt want to go through the hassle of the return, so it works.

Ordered it to use as a full size bed frame. It was missing the parts for the middle piece and the screws to lock the frame in place. I ordered a replacement and it was missing from that one as well!

Missing Parts!

Nothing in this items description mentions that you have to use it with head and foot boards just that it is compatible with them. There is no way to adjust the frame and not have the extra metal sticking out. Also the box came extremely damaged.
